We haven't eaten at Joey's Only in over 20 years, but I have to say today it was so delicious. Hubby and I shared an order of fish and chips - huge mistake! It was so good that we both wanted more. Their gravy is the best! They were skimpy on the fries, which was different because I remember getting so many fries back in the day. We can't wait to go back! Spoiler alert.... it'll be very soon.

Poor food for the money. Served on a tray. Not impressed! Tonight we did a take-out. I should have reviewed my first review as above. 50.00 for 2 meals. 4 fish and fries. 3.00 for a mouthful of slaw!I know food costs have soared but this is hwy robbery. Never again!

Went with a coupon $10 for 2 pieces of fish. My husband told the (owner, manager, waitress busboy and I’m sure cook) that we wanted to split that, before he could finish ordering, she barked no way are we splitting a $10 dish. We also wanted the lobster bisque soup $10. She also told us we couldn’t split. So my husband said the soup is for my wife and the fish is for me. She got the soup wrong and gave us the seafood chowder and charged us for the bisque.I felt like we were homeless people in her restaurant. She has always been rude when ever we have gone in there. The fish was good but the fries were not cooked. I would not have put it past her to have spit in the soup. We will not be going back to Joey’s restaurant. She totally ruined my day.

Joey's Seafood is my 117th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.I bought six pieces of Tofufish and chips. After tax and 15 percent tip it came to $16.91.The tofufish tasted like chicken nuggets.The waitress was extremely friendly and funny.The restaurant has a lot of TVs.The place was clean too!I will definitely be coming back here.I was amazed by how full I was after spending under $17.117 eateries in Vernon complete; 40ish to go!Vegetarian options: Tofufish, French Fries, Buddha bowl, Bangkok bowl

Went for all u can eat fish Tacos, was excellent. Pico de gallo and coleslaw was fresh. Fries and fish were fresh and hot. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I have been enjoying the fish and chips for six years . The slaw is deliciously compatible. Fare price and quick service. Our go to comfort food in Vernon.

Not good fries were moldy taste and cheesecake was soup like in a small dish strong lemon taste won't be back to say the least.

I won't be going back to Joeys. The salmon was tasteless from being frozen. My lobster crab sandwich was burnt and it also lacked flavour. It was so expensive and I feel I just threw 51.00 down the drain. I know it has great reviews but I just don't see why. I've been there several times recently and it just gets worse.

I felt like I was part of the Joey's family. I truly became one with the fish, and lived a thousand lives as the chips. They should turn on the subtitles so you can get the full news stories instead of just the headlines from the TV.
