All I can say is WOW! I have never been so disgusted with a dining experience in my life. We joined our parents (to whom we gave a two night package at the resort) for breakfast on April 26th. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation, then proceeded to wait for 15 minutes to be seated (the dining room was half empty). OK, not a big deal, but so very unnecessary. It then took someone 15 minutes to even offer us a cup of coffee (after asking 2 different staff members for some). Our server was very inexperienced, and they were very understaffed, so I will give her a break - but she was really quite bad.I can almost overlook much of this except for the quality of the food. I had the Chorizo Bowl, which sounded nice, but was anything but. The "chorizo" portion of it tasted suspiciously like bolognese sauce, the hash browns were "deepfry out of a bag" from Sysco foods, and the poached eggs were so small they had to be "grade A medium" at best. There was a ton of kale however! The other meals we received weren't any better. The toast was so dry and over-toasted, that there was no saving it with any amount of jam.My in-laws said it was pretty much the same experience every morning for breakfast! We cam here many years ago for breakfast, just after Sparkling Hills opened, and it was terrible then, but we chalked it up to being so new. Clearly it hasn't changed. And, for what they charge for food here, it should be spectacular! We weren't the only people in the dining room that morning who were disgusted, as we saw many diners not happy with the experience.Save your money and go somewhere else!

We stayed 2 nights at sparkling hills so we got to dine here for breakfast in the morning but it wasn't quite what we expected. The first day I had a traditional breakfast but I felt the bacon wasn't cooked enough. Husband had the yogurt bowl which was good. The second day I had the goat cheese omlette and asked them to make sure it was well done but it came a little runny in the middle so I just ate the outer edges which was disappointing. My husband had thr smoothy bowl which was okay but was very melted when it arrived. Overall 3 stars for the food but the service was excellent and they were able to accommodate us by seating us at a window table which was amazing each day.

Had many meals at the Peak Fine and their dinner is always food and very well presented. One of Sparkling Hill’s value adds is the great selection of breakfast all included in the room rate. Great idea and lots of great options on the menu. Always a hearty breakfast to fill you up for the day. After many breakfasts, this was the first disappointment in the quality which is normally great. I always loved the fresh fruit ? as I love freshly cut fruit. This time the fruit was dried out and I guess prepared ahead of time or standing around overnight as the server mentioned. The chocolate croissant was also not freshly baked and very firm. The utensils and salt and pepper shakers were soiled and sticky as with cutlery. Small details but important. Spinach & Feta omelette was a little dry for my liking but at the end of it all the view distracts from these shortfalls.

This place is pretty terrible if you’re a vegan.Of the vegan breakfast options, the scrambled tofu and mushrooms on toast is bland and dry - texturally a nightmare. The fruit is hotel-quality in a bad way and their coffee is not any better. The potatoes are fine, though. The service is lovely and the vibes are pretty nice, so at least they’ve got that going for them. Skip this experience and head into town.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options are limited and disappointing.Dietary restrictions: GF options available. Probably kindest to the GF folks more than any other dietary restriction.

Breakfast was lovely, but unfortunately they never did bring back their excellent Breakfast buffet post COVID. There were a few vegetarian choices, which was nice. They are not super amenable to substitution - I asked for a few slices of brie with my toast and eggs and hashbrowns instead of the bacon/sausage it usually comes with and was surprised when the answer was: ooo, that's not something we can just do, we need to check with the chef. In the end, they did bring a small amount of cheese, so that was good. The Supper, however, was terrible. Bland and flavourless. The vegetarian option was just plain bad - the 3 course dinner offered a falafel bowl that sounded and looked lovely - like a poke bowl. In the end, the dish was just awful - the flavours didn't go together, the rice was gooey, the beets slimy rather than crisp and flavourful. Neither my daughter nor I had more than a bite before leaving our plate. The manager noticed we had sent the dishes back untouched and offered us 50% off one of our entrees, despite neither being touched. Oh well, we didn't expect anything really, so I guess 50% off one was better than nothing. There were no other vegetarian options available. The risotto was chosen by our dinner partner, and that was bland and flavourless as well. The cheesecake for dessert had no flavour except the freezer-burn. Absolutely disappointing overall. My son did enjoy the calamari, but it is an exceptionally small portion for what you pay. The wine list is extensive however, so maybe skip dinner and just go for a nice glass of wine instead. Would not recommend - maybe hop in the car instead and have a lovely meal in Vernon instead then just head back for drinks. I must say, the breakfast server on our first day was extraordinary. She was absolutely lovely and started our day off right with her sunny countenance. The dinner server was busy and although polite, definitely seemed tired and ready to go home by our reservation at 7:15.

Service was excellent, ambiance was good. The view makes it! My husband had the 3 course meal and was satisfied with it I am vegan and decided to go with the vegan cauliflower dish as it looked the best to me. I was so disappointed in the portion. Everyone else had a decent meal and I had 3 -4 small pieces of cauliflower and 3 potatoes halved. All served in a tasty sauce, but nothing to soak it up. It was more like a stater soup. It was delicious but not a $35 entree. Our party could not believe it was my main course. Anyway they all left satisfied, while I left hungry, Again, it was tasty, I just don't think that item should be listed as a main.

Our dinner was excellent. I ordered potatoes and bacon soup, and my husband had risotto. Both are tasty. We both ordered roast chicken, which had a good review online.. The waiter also surprised us with a dessert that was specially made for our anniversary

We came here for breakfast two mornings in a row as we were staying at the resort. Both days the breakfast was great. It is a full breakfast included in the overnight package. We had the omelettes as well as the pancakes. The beverage options that come with the breakfast are also great. Jessica was a great waitress on the first morning.

Breakfast was sparse and cold and fries instead of potatoes!!. Bistro was better for service. The outdoor restaurant was wonderful. Need to up their breakfast as it was truly boring and not appealing

I have enjoyed dining at PeakFine for many breakfast meals over the years with girlfriends and my husband and have always appreciated the calm and delightful service from this restaurant's serving staff. Unfortunately, the experience we had with our server on the morning of Saturday, March 9, 2024 - this past weekend left us feeling non-plussed. I believe our server's name was Melanie G. At first, we tried to chalk her reception, reaction and interactions with us up to being very busy or overly busy and rushed. She was hurried during our entire meal, making us a bit uneasy, as if ourselves and other diners were too much to attend to with patience and calm. When one of us requested a side of hollandaise she was quick to return with some - that was fine and well. While she was getting this side, I thought I might also like a side of hollandaise sauce so I asked if I too could get a side when she returned with my friend's sauce. Perhaps she was overrun with guests and orders but her reply was quick, rude and seemed to make us think we were exasperating her or inconveniencing her. She quickly spat out, with what appeared to be a flourishing yet disingenuous smile, and unwelcome tone, something similar to, "Is there anything ELSE you want me to get before I head back to the kitchen again?" Then, as she walked away to gather a side of hollandaise sauce for me, she shook her head from side to side, which we perceived as her thinking we were troubling and inconveniencing her for asking for something to enhance our eggs Florentine, that morning. I always appreciated the hard work servers engage in but we were not impressed with her tone, dismissiveness and energy that morning. I am hoping it was a one off but it stayed with us after breakfast - we were not impressed. Melanie was a sour start to our morning. I would recommend Peak Fine but Melanie and our breakfast meal that day was disappointing - eggs Florentine seemed to be all egg whites and flavour lacking. Too bad.

The breakfast is not the best. It's okay but it was so much better when they had the buffet. I had the scrambled tofu it didn't have a lot of flavour. The latte is not the best either. The scenery is beautiful and the service is friendly and good.

For dinner -Food was underwhelming, small portions for the price, taste was ok, bread was cold and dry. Breakfast service was awesome... food was generally bland, the smoked Salmon dish was very good with the exception of the dry /stale/crusty croissant .

Waited almost 15 minutes when arrived on time for 830 am reservation. Especially concerned as about 12 to 15 others were also stuck waiting. Suggestion 1: consider 15 minute reservation intervals. 2: Have senior hostess communicate with guests lined up with apologies and reason for delay. Cheers Dan Visser

Beautiful resort! Atmosphere, scenery, staff exceptional!! Complimentary fruit needs to be fresh, very dry, obviously left out, juice warm. Food selection good, lots of variety. Food seemed rush to prepare toast barely butter. Just simple things to correct and it would be perfect!
