So the quality of the food has gone way down! My nachos had very little cheese when I asked for extra and the jalapeño are not fresh.. cook is lazy!! The Butter chicken sauce was not cooked fresh tasted more like out of a jar!! Disappointed again:(

I had the “slow braised beef obie” and my partner had the “sausage and mash.” We were both disappointed. I thought the braised beef was too salty. The peppercorn sauce was a bit much. My potatoes were warm but definitely not hot. My partner’s sausage was also very salty and we joked that it looked (and tasted) more like a hot dog than a decent sausage. We would not go back.

Excellent staff and very attentive. Food was beyond our expectations and was delicious. Even though construction was ongoing we were pleasantly surprised by the location to eat. Highly recommend going here!

Excellent service! I do not like the live music in a small space.. very loud!! Very disappointed with the pickled jalapeño instead of fresh ones:( I usually have the nachos every time.

When I booked I had zero idea it was going to be in the basement and not the same place that the pictures show in the website. It was for a special birthday and I would not go back. No view and food was over priced. Staff are friendly but someone should have called to let us know about the renovations.

Unfortunately we didn't know the restaurant is under renos and we were seated in a pop-up version of the restaurant in a banquet room. The acoustics of the that room made it extremely loud especially with a couple of 12 fairly loaded golfers made the restaurant into their personal bachelor pad. The food was amazing but the service was about a 7/10. I had to get up to fill my own water cup a few times. This could be attributed to the wait staff giving too many tables to handle. All in all, we love this place and will be back once renos are completed to get the full effect of the food, view and ambiance.

It was very misleading to book a table and then to arrive to find out they were sitting in the basement in a ball room that was overcrowded, overstimulated and over priced very disappointing open table should've let us know that part of the ridge is not open

We were not aware of the construction when booking -and thought we were getting the deck experience with heaters - it was disappointing to be in a noisy ballroom. My recommendation is to wait until the renovations are completed before going.

The Range Restaurant is currently under renovations which is something that should have been disclosed when we made our reservation. This was our wedding anniversary and it felt like we were in someone's rec room. Server was mediocre and never even asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu. Brutal!

The Range is special. It is our neighbourhood restaurant/lounge and as such we value it greatly. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The food becomes a bit too familiar after a while, though. Events like live music and Wednesday wine tastings are super popular and enjoyable.

The pasta dish order was not hot ( or even warm) and the pasta crunchy! That was returned. The Slaw and chicken was very disappointing - overall very dry. No dressing and the breaded chicken was dry and cold. My drink (a Caesar) was extremely spicy ( too much tobasco?) and I was unable to drink it. As I was entertaining a guest I did not wish to cause further discomfort so only returned the pasta. Overall, an expensive and very negative experience. I would not invite friends again. The service was fine.

We did the “date night” menu and it was well worth it ! One can choose any 2 main courses on the menu regardless of the price so we chose the steaks and were not disappointed. We'll be going back for sure !

While they renovate upstairs, all dining is in the range lounge downstairs. We were staying at sparkling hill and they picked us up with their shuttle, which made the evening nice and easy! There was a really good dining special on and the food options were amazing! Super healthy portions and lots of flavour! Their vegan mousse dessert was to die for!! Great service, overall a really nice evening!

After doing some research and hearing about this restaurant we booked for a date night. We were disappointed because pictures we saw did not show a little made over conference room setting in the basement; it definitely wasn’t nice views and ambiance that I was expecting. Service was fair, food was fair: Tbone was tough even cooked rare, some veggies were a bit undercooked and it the Obie while amazingly tender, was almost over salted.
