The only tables available were dirty & inappropriate rap music was playing when I walked in. I ordered chicken strips & fries which take a few minutes in the deep fryer but I had to wait extra long because the guy made up 2 orders for customers who came in after me, first. He said he'd bring my order out to me but left on the counter and pointed "it's over there" when he came out to wipe the tables.

Nothing in common with the famous Toronto shawarma, btw. I had the Habbibi's donair, which included choice of meat and a few french fries inside. I was disappointed by the size of the donair - it was smaller than ones I get at other places, and cost a whopping $12! It didn't have a good amount of meat in it either. The meat was forgettable. I don't mean to criticize, but I feel that if an establishment is going to charge you $12 for a small pita, then they should make more of an effort to give you what you paid for.

This is an honest review ~ Not Authentic! Not even close to a real donair! They don't have lamb also who put cheese on donair ? and the meat was very dry, tasted old and tough to chew. It's a bad copycat of subway sandwich.

Worst location by far. I love subcity but I will avoid this one every time. Staff are rude, only got a few pieces of Donair meat when I ordered a large. Only got a little bit of sweet sauce and said he would charge me if I wanted more meat and sauce. WORST experience I’ve ever had at the restaurant. Would not recommend this location to anyone. Kelowna is the place to get subcity!

I LOVE donairs, so I was anticipating something delicious. The restaurant is clean and the prepared vegetables looked fresh. However the meat was thickly sliced and dry, dry, dry. I have tried pre-sliced and re-warmed meat at other places that has worked, but sadly this was a fail. Found it a bit pricey as well. Probably would not have minded the price if it had been delicious.
