This place has, unfortunately, gone downhill. I used to be a fairly regular customer - I'd work remotely from the cafe all the time last year, where my regular order would be a medium latte and a lemon-blueberry muffin.I happened to be working from home on this particular day, and decided to walk up to get a coffee and a muffin. The coffee was as good as always - a credit to the trainee barista who made it, but it was a little overpriced ($5 for a 12oz latte, when I can get one for cheaper at Milano), but the muffin, previously the highlight of my visits, really let me down. Not only was it smaller (and the same price as it was before), but it tasted awful, it was tough to bite into, I ended up having to throw it away because it was physically difficult for me to swallow it. It just makes me sad, more than anything, this used to be my favourite coffee shop.

Decent coffee shop, however the prices are way too high! $6.50 for a Cappuccino!

Truly is the Kindest Cup! Such wonderful owners and service - a lovely neighborhood spot. Sometimes they have vegan treats but not all the time

Not vegan friendly. Unwilling to change anything on the menu and advertised flax rolls but had none in stock. Soy latte was served luke warm. Bunny’s cafe and Iluka are much better options in this area.

used to come here all the time as it is super convenient from work, but since the new ownership my visits have steadily decreased. Value for money spent has declined for sure, but the biggest change I have noticed is in the customer service. The people working there don't treat their patrons very well, and the experience I just had is going to make me stop going there for good. I walked in to get a coffee, and the place was empty except for two employees standing at the counter. Neither acknowledged me at all, and both turned and walked away from the counter (one to the bathroom, the other into the back). I stood waiting for a minute wondering if anyone was going to come and take my order when one of the employees came back, stood in front of me and just stared at me. I said hello , good morning and again they just stared at me. So, i placed my order and again they didn't say a word to me, just punched in the amount into the till and hit the prompt for a tip. I was paying with a giftcard so I cancelled the transaction as the employee went on to continue making my coffee for me. When they came back I indicated I would be using a giftcard to pay. They still said nothing, punched in the transaction and then reached to my wallet to take the giftcard. Super weird. In the meantime another patron had come in and this employee went on to serve him as I was leaving. They had no issue speaking to him and engaged in chit chat, so it left me wondering what was the issue with me, or had I done anything to offend this person by saying good morning? I just left incredibly confused. I will not be back and will be passing my giftcard on to someone else.

I am very dissapointed with the new ownership. They have reduced the hours and are all about profits not helping out people with disabilities. I liked it better when it was under the old ownership Kim.

I was just there yesterday with my mom and their new carrot cake loaf with generous cream cheese icing was delightful and the service is always great too!!Vegetarian options: I had a veggie panini and it was alright. Not amazing but just right!Wheelchair accessibility: The bathroom was larger and the entrance was level. The door was not automatic and it was heavy but they would come running to help you open it!!

Great coffee and a cute cafe, however their display to all other patrons the amount that you are tipping for your purchase which I feel is a shady and passive aggressive way to encourage larger tips.

Along with great coffee, the folks at 'A Kinder Cup' were genuinely kind. I'd just had a wasp sting me (in November!) and the staff gave me a bag of ice to help reduce the swelling and let me sit while I assessed my next steps. They've always been ready to step up and help [the community], as well as customers; very kind folks!

I'm honestly probably one of Kinder Cup's biggest fan, I live close and have been coming here since they opened and I'm rarely disappointed. Staff are so friendly and food and drinks are great. Owner is a sweetheart, feels like a little family in there. Definitely a good local business to support!
