It absolutely baffles me when I see this restaurant with nobody in it. Its great! Weve been there three times now in almost as many weeks, The waitresses are pleasant and nice. The drinks are cold., and the food fresh. Now I must say I saee skip drivers coming and going almost every ten minutes but WHY eat in nobody there? Great place with a fireplace and all. Now the front room kinda sucks as you have peoples headlights in your face all the time but the back room is awesome and we always request the back room. Anyway please try! Support this business and go...go eat in! get the hell outta the house.

I have been going to Akemi since they had their previous establishment. I like the food, the people and the location, parking isn't always available out front but it's a small mall complexPrices everywhere are going up so I can't blame Akemi for doing the same. I have never had bad food or bad service and know all of the service staff by name.My only negative is the condition of the men's washroom but that is a problem for the landlord.
I wish there was a 4.5 option. This place was good, but not my favourite so far. Generally good flavors and good quality, but one of several good places in Langford (thank god)
Good atmosphere and environment. Service needs a bit more attention. Waited a longer period to order and get the food. Maybe take out might be better service.
