Classic blue collar bar. Food was good, server's were friendly and on top of things. The beer was good, cold and a reasonable price. First time visit and we will try again.

Went on trivia night. The trivia was fun, but after being asked once if we were ready the bartender disappeared, and never came close to asking again. Another waitress we flagged took our order instead.Fish and chips we're over battered to hide the fish. Most of the batter was good, but there was some mushy uncooked parts too.Overall not many other pubs in that area of Langford. The place needs a facelift. The kitchen is too big for the area, and could be opened up for more seating. Hell the decor is the same from 30 years ago when it was glen lake pub.

Popped in on karaoke night, and had a great time. The participants were amazing, and great entertainment. I just had a drink, but service was friendly and prompt. It was obviously noisy, so don't go on Saturday if you want to chat, but for the price of a beer, we had a rocking good time in Langford@

Buckey's should be calledYUKIES. Food is either frozen garbage or badly cooked garbage....A real bummer since they once had good food. Everything went down hill.So sad because it used to be a good place to go.

While the service was decent, and beer was good value, the food was nothing spectacular despite paying above average pub costs. It was also very loud, and we left early with friends to chat elsewhere.
Don’t bother going here for any events - they don’t take reservations. We tried going to the Elf trivia night and called ahead to see what time we should get there to guarantee we get a table, a staff member said that we should arrive at 6pm and we’d definitely get a table. We arrived well before 6pm and were told at the door that they were full and refused to even put us on a wait list. What’s the point in hosting events if you have to camp out to get a table??? They also don’t answer their contact email so don’t bother contacting them that way.
