It was late in the day. The pre-prepared food looked a bit old. Instead I ordered a lamb roganjosh. Comes with rice and a cucumber/radish salad. The curry sauce was quite nice. The lamb wasn't bad....maybe a bit dry, which is expectedd since it's probably frozen then thawed. But I quite enjoyed it.

Probably one of the better Indian restaurants I've been to. Did not dissapoint, and excellent rice. Would recommend the curry chicken.

I’ve been going to this place for a couple of years now. I have never been disappointed. I love their butter chicken, it has a little hint of sweetness I love. I like their Channa Masala and Dahl. I’ve had their Chicken curry too, it’s also excellent. This place is inside the Mayfair Mall food court. I’ll go to this place for my Indian take out and bring it home. For $15.00 you get 2 side dishes with rice. All of the food selection is directly out in front of you to choose. There are about 8-10 dishes to choose from. Truly this place deserves a shout out to anyone looking for excellent Indian food. I feel if there is a good food place to pass on to others, this is the place! My preference is to get the food to go. Eating in the mall, this food is just too good to eat it in a noisy cafeteria type setting.

I picked up food to go. Combo, extra naan, 2 samosas. The naan were terrible. Like flour and water. No salt and no taste and almost doughy in the middle. The samosas are just “ok”. They have none of the traditional spices. The chutney makes them more palatable but we didn’t get any. It is on the menu board however. I called after and asked and she said she didn’t have any. Also she said “most ppl ask for it”. So I didn’t get any because I didn’t ask?? Not sure how that makes sense. So disappointing with the naan. We’re not going to eat them as they don’t seem cooked. Also no dip that would make the samosa worthwhile. They didn’t offer to make it right in any way.

I ordered the butter chicken yesterday. I don't know what was in it but I bit down and heard a loud cracking noise. I have an emergency dental appointment today.Thank you for the reply. Can I please have your email? I just got back from the dentist and my tooth is fractured.

The food was poor. Not that good , not many good veggie options and I was gunna get a samosa but they were all slightly burned.I feel bad for the lady because she seems nice but this is the worst Indian cuisine I've ever had and I've eaten at almost every single east East Indian food place in Victoria. It really needs some standards ...

Really genuinely sorry to have to do this, but as a Vegan I take food hygiene really seriously. I've eaten at your Victoria location many times and always enjoyed the food but today ended up with Chicken in my aloo masalla and I'm very disappointed and upset by it. I understand mixups happen but this shouldn't do. Please make sure you're thorough with keeping things separate, it's hugely important to most consumers nowadays. Again, sorry to write a negative review

I’ve eaten from this place in Nanaimo and they were very good and fast. I even got a piece of bread and was offered a drink, but your location in Victoria is awful. I looked at the food and it didn’t seemed to be turned over in awhile. I also waited three mins as there was no one there. When she arrived she had a child in with her, which walked back and forth in front of the food store for over a half hour. There was a person ahead of me and the server continued to chat with him even though I was still waiting. When she finally got to me she was very unfriendly as if I had bothered her. She served me my food and sent me in my way with zero conversation. I don’t think I’ll go back to this Victoria store. I’ll go next store where they were super friendly to there customers as I watched them in action while I ate my food, which I now regret. So one star for the Victoria store.
