For the price, the sushi was not bad. The location and appearance of the kitchen was a bit unappealing. However, the sushi was in reasonable condition and about on par with or better than T&T sushi. While certaintly not a restaurant for legitimate fresh sushi, the price is hard to beat for casual takeout.

This is normally my go-to sushi place, I really appreciate the quality and pricing.But today we got some tuna that was black (we tossed it out before taking a photo) and now I don't know if I'll be going back.Yes you choose your own tray, but there's no reason fish that has gone bad should be available.Otherwise this place is fantastic.

First, the place has a weird smell. Second, the sushi was pretty gross. The rice was congealed into a dense paste and the tuna was mushy and flavourless. If I didn't hate wasting food I wouldn't have finished eating. The staff were not helpful. It would be worth the 20 minute drive to Fujiya which is infinitely better, or the extra dollar or two for Bon Sushi in Royal Oak Plaza. Overall terrible establishment, do not go here. ZERO STARS.
I ordered a customized party tray for an event. The quality and especially the good price exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back and recommend them.

Best inexpensive sushi in Victoria! You get great sushi, fast friendly service, and everything is about half off, right before they close, because they make their sushi fresh every day. Try it. You'll be happy you did.

Not good for vegetarian options. The yam roll is yuck. They don't use tempura yam. Just straight up plain yam with nothing. The food is as basic as it gets, no flavor. The worst packaging, very poorly packaged for Skip the dishes. The bag was open and nothing was sealed. Any delivery person would have free range to tamper with your food if they wanted. Of course it's a market so nothing comes hot and I wish I had known I've basically have to cook my own dumplings. I could have just taken the ones that I have in the freezer out and heated those up.
