I don't love leaving bad reviews, but I ordered from here for the first time as take out because of it's pricing. I got hot and sour soup which is a questionable mess and sweet and sour pork, which is really chewey and somehow tastes burnt? And was also put in to the bag on its side beside the soup, so there was sauce dripping all over everything upon arrival. Sorry guys, it's an order I won't make again.

My family has been ordering from this restaurant for however many decades and it never disappoints. By far my favorite dan dan noodles in the city, I do wish they were still on the menu!Love this place

A big thank you to the staff of East Garden for absolutely destroying our Christmas dinner this year!! When we called two days ahead of time we were guaranteed our order at a set time. Upon arrival it was apparent that they were only providing orders to skip drivers. Any other person in the restaurant was told their food is not ready, nor would it be for at least 40 minutes. The two girls working the counter giggled to themselves as they watched countless people making upset phone calls to hungry families. You guys need to call people and let them know so they don’t drive across town to pickup food that doesn’t exist. This was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will never return to this restaurant, and I will actively stop others from going.Shame on you.

I never leave reviews but felt compelled because the wonton soup with pork wontons is PHENOMENAL. The best I have ever tasted. Sweet and sour chicken balls are always a classic, but good nonetheless. I was quite disappointed by the honey garlic chicken and the vegetable chow mein, as they were quite bland and nothing to run home about.. however, the wonton soup truly made up for it. Overall enjoyable and would order from here again simply for the soup!

Had a big order to feed 10 for boxing day! This is the second year in a row. The food was hot and fresh, not greasy like other places seam to make it. This has become our go to Chinese restaurant in east Saanich now. We order 4-5 times a year and it's been consistently good.
