Went for an early Sunday supper with a friend. Hardy’s connects to an Indian restaurant & is run as the same establishment with 2 menus.Pro: you can order from both menus easily.Seating in booths was comfortable. Space was clean and tidy. It was quiet and we were able to enjoy and long visit without feeling rushed by the staff.Service was good. My friend had a pulled pork poutine; portion was medium-large for a reasonable price. She enjoyed it — it was typical poutine sauce.I had tomato bisque with a grill cheese. Both were ok; wish it was fancier bread and more flavourful cheese. Wish soup had been more interesting. So overall if you’re ok with casual fare, reasonable prices, it works :)

A massive letdown on the overall customer service experience. We booked a table for 7 for Mother’s Day and received confirmation of our reservation via Open Table. They told us there was no reservation record when we arrived on time. However, they could set up a table in 5 minutes. Why do people say they will have it ready in 5 minutes, knowing they can’t pull off that promise?20 minutes later, our table “is ready,” but my spouse and I had to combine two tables and move chairs, so our party of 7 sat together. As a former worker in the food service industry, I know people go out to restaurants (even though it involves spending money) because they want the opportunity to socialize and relax over delicious food with family and friends without work (cooking, serving and post-dinner cleanup). I am not opposed to the automatic 18% gratuities for large parties WHEN a server DESERVES adequate compensation for excellent service. Dining out these days is not cheap, and it is a treat. We all had breakfast, nothing fancy; the average bill per person was $26, including taxes. The food was okay. I ordered the chicken and waffle benedict (I should have taken a photo). I would not call it “Belgian waffles” as described on the menu; it was more like Eggo waffles. Extra crispy thin cutlets to describe the chicken. Plus, two mini poached eggs. The owner could benefit from training their employees on excellent customer service to survive in the competitive food industry. Starting with effective communication between staff and between staff and customers. Inform customers of accurate waiting times and keep customers busy while they wait. Make sure the table is really ready for customers to occupy, provide the menu and serve them water. On special occasions or events (busy kitchen), politely let your customers know there is/could be a waiting time for food to be served. Reasonable people understand this. Customers should only ask once (not 2 times) for more water/drinks or the bill.

Ordered a BLT and a regular cheeseburger for take out. Got a chicken sandwich with no bacon, and a burger with bacon and no cheese. Tried to get it rectified and was told order was correct and unwilling to do anything. Won’t be ordering from here again.

We were there for the first time for a bday party function. It was actually a pretty good place to have a big gathering. Staff were very nice and helpful. The Indian food was excellent. The wings were very good. The poutine (ordered by a kid...) was not great poutine as poutines go but it was ok. I'd love to try more of the Indian dishes. Two menus (Indian and Pub style stuff). I think the Indian is the key menu here but the other things looked worth trying. Will be back during a regular night.

Okay that was a big burger. I ordered the big daddy burger. It came with a good helping of tasty fries. Good price for all this. The burger filled me up like no other. I would imagine most people would only ever need two patties but I handled the third one. Overall very delicious! Also I ordered it takeout over the phone and it was ready when they said it would be. I'll be back for sure.
