Lovely cool place for board games however I went with my partner who is a coeliac and requested a gluten free sandwich. They gave her bread with gluten. She accidentally took a bite before realising. She then raised it with the staff in the cafe (who either did not understand the severity of a coeliac eating gluten, or did not care) who sadly acted as if it wasn’t a huge deal. This is something which is a huge deal and they didn’t help to reassure my partner and acted as if it wasn’t a big deal. If serving food, the staff needs to be aware of these kinds of things and the severity so for that reason until they are aware, we will be avoiding this place again.

This is a really fun place ! Lots of games to play and lots of tables and delicious snacks and drinks. The only thing that makes this less stars is that you have to go to the til/ counter any time you want to order anything (often waiting in line at busier times). Then they bring it to you. The other cafe in town has a system where you can order on an ipad and that’s why this isn’t my first choice for a game night . It’s inconvenient to have to wait in line mid game if you’d like another drink or more snacks. Also the one time I asked a staff member for a game rec she said she wasn’t sure but to look in the section. There are a ton of helpful staff and good games! But the ordering system isn’t great when you have to interrupt your game if you want anything. I hope they can get a new system or servers that come to your table because this is a great place !

Was not enthused by anything here. Board games for two players had a poor selection, some games had pieces or instructions missing. Milkshakes were ok. Would not recommend. Someone told us that Board with Friends is where it's at, we'd advise going there instead.

Love this place. A wonderful, vibrant, wholesome, all-ages atmosphere. Every time we have gone a member of the staff has assisted us in learning how to play a new board game. This is the place we played our first REALLY (understatement) awesome co-operative board game. Now all we play are co-operative board games.
My family has been going here monthly for a while now. Super friendly staff, great food and snacks, gigantic assortment of games. We always look forward to our next visit!

Came here to celebrate my birthday with 6 other friends and had a horrible experience. After speaking to the employees about a group of 4 preteen boys who were throwing their drink cans everywhere, throwing popcorn, screaming, and being rude to all the tables around us, they refused to move the kids away from all of our tables whom were respectfully playing and instead forced our party to leave after putting up with the nuisance for over an hour. Do not recommend any of the “cooked” food.

I've been here a couple of times over the last few weeks and it's always an enjoyable experience. The staff is super friendly, helpful and most importantly unanimously passionate about boardgames! This means that you will not only be served in the best possible way, but will also find employees helping you with selecting games as well as teaching the rules. And the sandwiches and flatbread pizzas are always a treat and will keep you going for a while ;) Highly recommend!

We were invited to a kids birthday party there, and it was an excellent for our smaller group. The customer service was Top Notch, the drinks were fabulous, but the pizza needs some work. I am not a board game fan, I was just dragged there, but it was still an impressive place. Highly recommend, if you're into that sorta thing.
