Stunning! I haven’t been to Weiwei for six years because the score on the map is only 3.4. I came here to try it and found it to be a typical Guangdong tea house style: the ribs are very tender, the fried squid is moderately heated, the siomai has a good taste and texture, and the tofu skin rolls are quite authentic. Come here next time and try the dishes.

I have visited the Jade Fountain for dim sum two or three times a year for the last 10 years or so. It's been sliding for quite some time. Today I went for dim sum at 11:30. Gai lan was served cold, steamed shrimp with scallop had to be returned because the seafood was "off". The server seemed unsurprised and took the dish off our bill. We ordered a tofu roll .which was unpleasant. At the till the woman was more than just uninterested in my politely expressed concerns. Other dishes were acceptable but nothing great. I wont bother trying again. There are other choices in Victoria with better food and better management.

Arrived 11:30 am several servers brought several lukewarm dim sum dishes (most likely cooked earlier & served at 10:30 am).Waitress (with the Cleopatra hair) was rude nasty when I asked for spring rolls close to finishing she brought the all $hrimp one, I stated I wanted the veg /meat type. Then she brought the deep fried bean curd roll…(sigh).Cleo…In a nasty voice said “I brought Spring type rolls… around earlier & said you didn’t want it”!!I did mention later….Of course we did not want 5-6 dishes all at one time.I agree cashier is also has an attitude, who knows if bill is accurate & how many cups of tea are actually charged correctly!Beware….Note: dim sum items are twice the size and fillings for dumplings huge!Parking: Motel with underground Asian restaurant (rather claustrophobic).

Been going between here and Don Mee for dim sum for years. Hadn't been back in a year or two. Certainly can spend more $$$ here for dim sum than Don Mee ( 2 people) . Regardless, the offerings for dim sum are pretty good, lots of thr classics. The curried tripe is really good, fried rice, and Eggplant with prawn, dumplings are also pretty good. Deep-fried crab claws were disappointing, and the crab meat seemed like fake crab...and it was just too soft (mushy). It's pretty crowded on weekends and you can often wait a while to get a table (if you aren't first, you're last). Still probably 2nd place to Don Mee.

Great food, good value, large portions, compared to many other restaurants that have shrunk their portions. Highly recommend, very authentic Cantonese food. Our toddler also loves their robot server!

Went for dim sum with my partner. Was basically ignored as we were non-Asian. Cart kept bypassing us. We only got to try 3 dishes off the cart after we practically stopped them from passing us by. I will never go there ever again!!!

This was such an unusual and shocking experience which was later confirmed by locals. Unless you are Asian, do not expect good service. It was very apparent that anyone who was not Asian was not treated equal to Asian customers. I hate to say it and was shocked, but this is a racist location. No, you cannot blame language barriers or any other excuses other than it was simply a race issue. We noticed how others, both Asian and non Asian were treated. Then, having met locals, they mentioned that this is what this restaurant is known for. I'm hurt and very disgusted.

Was always the best dim sum at the best price . Service has never been great but it was part of the experience. Last two times food was not even hot enough and prices are way up. A shame , been going there for 25

Very good food. We came on a Tuesday evening, and ordered the Dinner for two with honey garlic pork ribs on the side, and everything was fantastic. Service was regular and attentive. The ribs were crispy on the outside, and all the veggies were crunchy. Flavour was all around excellent as well.
