Came here for a second time to get “the Canadian” breakfast sandwich and a “chicken pesto” panini. Then a vanilla late and the handsome man behind the counter recommended me the cortado, which was absolutely awesome. All around a great place, one of the best cafes in Victoria.

The owners are so lovely and kind. I ordered a panini and soup when it was busy and sat down to wait and within 5 mins my food was ready. It was delicious and reasonably priced too. Their drinks, muffins, cookies and other treats are also very good. And knowing everything there is made with love makes the whole experience even better and so much more worth it.

Was in town for a doctors appointment for my mom and found this great little coffee shop. The food and coffee were great, but it was the service that I really appreciated. Will definitely come back there again in the future!

The cafe staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The coffee was delightful, offering a fresh and satisfying taste. However, the interior was a bit cramped, lacking a comfortable layout. Limited space between tables made seating feel crowded, and the absence of fresh air was noticeable. Fortunately, there were benches outside, but during our visit, rain made it less enjoyable without umbrella or deck cover.

Warm and pleasant atmosphere. The Ham and Brie I had was unreal . I should’ve ordered two of them. I will be coming back here next time I visit the Island.

went on my 20min work break. waited 15mins for a coffee and instant oatmeal to-go (he said 4mins for a fresh pot of coffee, but it was much longer). it was good but I won’t be returning because of the slow serviceWheelchair accessibility: wheelchair accessible, small cafe

Great food and service! The tea lattes are absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend the blueberry maple. I don't normally prefer either of those flavours, or the almond milk the latte uses, but it's incredible.

I live really close to Loft and Ladder, but it took me years to give it a shot. I regret that so much.I love the snacks they offer. However, the reason I go there a lot is THAT COFFEE. I don't fully understand how it tastes so good. I often buy beans here too in the hopes that I can replicate the magic at home. I get close, but I'm not a professional barista haha.Long story short, Loft and Ladder is one of Victoria's best coffee shops and possibly my personal favorite.
