Wow, what a great experience. I would most definitely dance again. I wasnt stoked on the taylor swift but there was a bachlorette party so i mean you gotta do what you gotta do. But everything else was just great. The cranbarry juice was really thirst quenching.

Whenever I go downtown for drinks I always end up at Lucky Bar. The layout is simple which I like and the music is always decent. But the reason I’m giving it five stars is for the staff that always make me and my friends feel safe and comfortable. I had an experience recently where someone took it upon themselves to invade my privacy. The bouncers dealt with it immediately, and one of the staff, Caleb, brought me some orange juice. They did not invalidate my experience despite not seeing it unfold. If these staff members hadn’t acted in the way that they did I probably wouldn’t have bounced back from the situation as well.Of course they’re simply doing their job, but I can’t say I’ve experienced that much effort at other bars/clubs in Victoria. I always feel watched (in a good way) by the staff, and they make an effort to check in if anyone seems unwell.If you’re looking for a fun night where you’ll be safe and taken care of, this is the place to go!

Coat check girls admitted to stealing my brand new coat outside the bar. Laughing about how I was cold. Don't trust the staff. I had one drink all night, and then the club didn't respond to calls or emails. Supposedly this js a known thing.

I used to enjoy coming to Lucky’s every saturday night. Unfortunately, last time that I was at this bar, a bartender named Marlon treated me poorly. He was very disrespectful and rude to me and all of my friends. I expect more from a local bar in Victoria.

Ran out of luck when I walked into this stink hole. Wow, I went home and had to bath for hours just to get the smell off of me. Very disappointed gentleman.

Lucky a one of my favourite clubs in Victoria right up there with upstairs. Caleb and Rupert are the absolute best front of door bouncers and so is Levi (he mainly bounces inside but occasionally the front of door as well) that I’ve meet. Super sweet caring guys and I always make sure to say hi and give them a hug even if I’m not stopping in the venue that night. Levi hawk is also one of my favourite DJs in town also just the absolute sweetest and always plays the best stuff on 90s night. On their slower nights he’s super on it if you give him a song request which I love! I will continue to spend lots more time there just cause I absolutely adore the people that work there as they are truly what make the experience what it is :)

They charge way too much to get in compared to what they offer. It's $10 and if you don't have that exact amount in cash they charge you to use their ATM. You can get a similar atmosphere at a place that lets you in for free. Not enough seating or floor space. And the cherry on top was that I got COVID here.

Great sound system, great dj. Bouncers and coat check and bartenders are all friendly and reasonable.Bathrooms are clean. Drinks are fair. The only issues is that it is a small intimate affair. Which could be a plus for some. I always come back here. The patreons who go are generally well mannered as well.

Went last night for the first time in a very long time. We are in our late 30’s and didn’t know how it would go….but the vibe was so good.The DJ’s were in flow and playing 90’s music which we loved. The staff were all AMAZING. The bouncers were nice and friendly. Marlon and Margaret took great care of us at the bar.Times have changed since we were going to the club and in a good way. Early in the night some people made a big dance off circle and they were so supportive of everyone who went in the middle. It was awesome to see everyone being just happy, good people.Definitely recommend.

Fun night, 10$ cover, drink prices were reasonable, good dj and nice set up, and the bar was very well run which was refreshing after coming from Vancouver clubs. 3 stars because they artificially queue the line to make it seem more attractive when it would be more fun for the people inside if they let more people in. I get that it's something the industry does but a 20m line is just as good as a 40 - 60m line and it's stupid when it's at the expense of the enjoyment of people already in the establishment.
