This might have been the worst indian food i have ever had. I ordered 2 dishes with naan on the side, and I would’ve been better off having water and rubber cuz that’s what it felt like. The chicken tikka masala was extremely bland and the only thing even mildly flavourful were the peppers. The “garlic” naan does NOT deserve to be called garlic naan, there wasn’t even a trace of garlic plus it had the texture of rubber. To add the cherry on top is the $18 price tag for a minuscule amount of curry. The saving grace for this meal was the rice, but to be honest if someone manages to mess up plain rice they shouldn’t allow themselves in a kitchen.

Tried veg biryani, found it lacking in terms of flavor and taste. It was just rice with some veggies in it.Not Recommend.

My recent visit to Namaste India cuisine was marked by disappointment. The food lacked flavor and proper cooking, while the staff’s communication was curt and unhelpful. Overall, a forgettable experience.

The food was a major letdown. Despite the promising descriptions on the menu, the dishes delivered were bland, overcooked, and lacked any semblance of flavor. The presentation was uninspired, resembling hastily assembled meals rather than carefully crafted culinary creations. It was evident that little attention to detail was paid in the kitchen.

I recently dined at namsate indian cuisine and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt lackluster and uninspired. The service was slow and indifferent, with staff seeming more preoccupied with their own conversations than attending to patrons. As for the food, it was a letdown. The menu promised culinary delights, but the reality was far from it. The dishes lacked flavor and finesse, tasting more like reheated leftovers than freshly prepared meals. Even the presentation was underwhelming, with sloppy plating and haphazard garnishes. To make matters worse, the prices were unjustifiably high for the quality of food and service provided. It's disheartening to spend hard-earned money on such a disappointing dining experience.Overall, I would not recommend [Restaurant Name] to anyone seeking a memorable meal. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that offer better food, service, and value for money. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere.
Nice place with good food. Good place for great Indian taste.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options. But good within what they have

Namaste is one of our most desired restaurants for Authentic Indian recipes. When most of Indian restaurants in Victoria, BC modified their Indian recipes, Namaste maintained the originality with the same flavour of spices, feel like you are back in India. Over the years, the taste and flavours are same. Specially the tandoor (any dish) is one of the best.Vegetarian options: We enjoyed Veg Biryani, Tandoori Paneer Tikka (spicy), Palak Paneer, Dal Makhani, and Kheer. All are these are prepared the best, clean, assorted, aromatic, and tasty. Naans are very good. Raita is perfect. Quality of paneer is excellent, soft and adequately marinated. Highly recommend to visit. The location is perfect just on Douglas Street with plenty of free parking space. Instrumental Music is light and makes your day a perfect one!
