I had passed by this place countless times before, but I had never taken a close look at the menu until now. I decided to order the pork bao and a raspberry London fog, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The bao was excellent—the bun was warm, soft, and slightly sweet, and the portion of pork was generous. It was marinated perfectly and tender, and it paired wonderfully with the bun and cucumber. Surprisingly, even without any extra sauce, the flavors came together harmoniously.As for the raspberry London fog, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, and I found that it became overwhelming halfway through the cup. However, I was impressed by the diverse selection of drinks on their menu, and I would definitely return to try out some of their other bao options.
Cute place! Bao sandwiches did not disappoint - incredibly tasty and they have excellent coffee too. Seating is limited but it’s a cute spot to stop by for a quick bite.

It's like a normal cafe... only better. The hot chocolate is tasty, the bread is decent, and our family enjoys it every year.Kid-friendliness: Kids like hot chocolate. That's all I can say. Hot chocolate.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We got some coffee and baos for dine-in. The coffee was so well-flavored and balanced. The pork bao was the best one I'd ever had. The gal at the front I presumed to be the owner, was very nice and encouraged us to get our own baos because we wouldn't want to share haha, she was right. Not much seating but thankfully we were there pretty early. Would definitely come back!

Glad I noticed this little cafe on the corner. Food, specifically the bao, was amazing, savoury and delicious! And I really enjoyed the iced matcha. Will be coming again next time I visit!

Cozy little place but good tasting food and drinks with tons of options. It's on that corner entering Hudson's Bay Mall. It's a small place. I tried the honey glazed pork and rodeo meatball bao and they are both good and tasty. Strong meat flavours with some veggies. Hot and fresh. It's decent size and good value for money. I pair this with Italian sodas with so many flavours to choose from. I like the hazelnut. It's very refreshing. The seats are cozy with small tables. Comfortable for reading a book or just having conversation with friends. There's plenty of tables outside. Afterwards you can take a walk and a few steps you are in the touristy area of Government street. The owner is also very pleasant and friendly. A must for me in any business. Check this little place out!

Cute little place with absolutely delicious Bao. So glad I found this place after moving to Victoria from Vancouver! The drink menu is extensive which is great for someone like me who can't have caffeine or dairy. Still lots of options for me! On this visit had their strawberry acai cooler which was great.While the branding and furnishings are nice, it does feel more like a hole in the wall to get ones food to go rather than sit and eat. Though they do have a few tables it's a bit cramped and cluttered feeling. Maybe a slight redesign of the layout would help? Still, great spot for a breather while shopping, or to stop by and take something to the waterside. And the food more than makes up for the lack of ambience.
