Prompt service. Dated interior but that's okay. All food items were very good except for the fried rice.Very good value for the money. The dinner for four can comfortably feed 5 people or make for several lunches.I missed having the 4 spring rolls that other places usually include with the dinner for four special.

The food is always hot and fresh. Their breaded almond chicken is one of the best in town. Great value for the money

New Village is a great place to get take out, I gave it a 1 for atmosphere as this is purely a take out place, it's barely a hole in the wall. The food is delicious, the price is alright. ⚠️THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH ⚠️Parking: New Village is located in a strip mall along Quadra street across from The Keg there is a considerable amount of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a walkway type area with the typical ramp access and New Village is at ground level with the walkway, absolutely no stairs required.

I am writing this comment, while I am being blotted eating chicken choimen ordered from new village, which littery doesn't have a single piece of chicken. I called to complain and they told me they forgot to put chicken. Utterly waste of money.

They are good but if they mess up you pay not them.. your just a nother 20$ bill. 8$ for a ounce of extra meat for your 10$ beaf chowmean.. aww thanks for ripping me off.. years of me going there and you gave up my 20$ every 2weeks because you're too cheap to give your costumers what they pay for. ? ? and above all their menu is so out of date they only have like 10 things left on it that they serve.. thank you though ?

Pretty good Canadian Style Chinese food. We ordered the Cantonese style chicken chow mien, S&S Pork, BBQ Fried rice and New Village chop suey. Yes, it’s processed chicken on top of the chow mien but not unlike any other Canadian Chinese food you’d get anywhere else. Over all the flavours are good and you get 10% off if you pick up and pay cash. The pick up area, and entire restaurant for that matter, could use some paint and a refresh. I would recommend for take out Chinese food.

Not worth it. Very cheap ingredients. Not real chicken meat. We ordered a combo meal with: chicken fried rice. Only has a few green onions with little cubes of fake starchy chicken. The rice is flavored with soy sauce. Chicken chow mein Noodles are cheap quality too soft and strings of fake chicken. And only a few sweet and sour pork with very bland sauce and it does not even have pineapple bits to enhance the flavor. Not worth 14 bucks at all.

The worst chineese food I ever had in B.C. They don't even used real chicken in the fried rice and the chow mein. It's cold cut chicken cut in cubes and lanyard. The sweet and sour pork was tasteless . They don't even give you chopsticks with your take away orders. I wish there was a no star option for this restaurant.

There probably one of the best Chinese food take out places in Victoria, the food is always fresh and tasty with the most reasonable prices in Victoria as well.
