With 3 pho joints in a block or so, we decided on Pho Tru because it has the most folks in it. What’s great choice. The service was amazing and the food was incredible. Normally a beef pho kind of guy, i decided to try chicken pho at a friend’s request. The soup was just as Rick and flavorful as any beef pho I’ve had, with the star anise, cardamom, and other spices well balanced to create one of the finest broths I’ve ever had. The chicken was plentiful and peeled off the bone from what I can only assume was the chicken used to make the soup. The veggies were crispy and fresh and the noodles were cooked to, for my taste, a perfect level of tenderness. And now I have a pho place to visit whenever I’m in Victoria. Thanks Pho Tru.

We tried to order online and they refused to simply modify the order and put the spice on the side instead of in the broth. How is it too much to ask to just not have spice in the soup?? They did not attempt to communicate and just canceled our order then changed status to no longer open for buisness.... at 917 pm on a Monday.Pho Tru? More like Pho dissapointment.....

Great Vietnamese Restaurant in Victoria. Was here visiting and stopped in for a bowl of Pho (had beef satay soup) and a Banh Mi sandwich. Portions were great and flavours fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re in Victoria and craving Viet.
We ordered chicken soup noodles. The chicken tasted unfresh, stale and poorly cut. I got a peek at the kitchen when I went to use toilet, it’s a horror show. Toilet was also packed with stock. Sorry for the bad review but few things need to be corrected.

I've done takeout from Pho Tru a few times now, and I'm confident to say their pho is some of the best in Victoria. Really like their spicy pho, and the super friendly dude at the front (owner?) recently suggested the spicy beef satay pho to me, and it's now among my favourite meals in town. Portions are really decent, and they don't skimp on the quality meat. I'll be back soon!
