Best chinese food I have ever had! Been a resident of the lower mainland my entire life and been through a lot of Chinese places - none of them come close to Rainbow!Lemon chicken was well cooked and had an excellent crunch. The lemon sauce isn't thin like other places and really packs a flavourful punch.Beef & Broccoli was perfection - the broccoli was so great. Most times it kinda gets left on the plate - not this time!The portion sizes of some dishes are a bit smaller than what some folks may expect - but the quality is absolutely there. Given the current state of restaurants/inflation I still feel the price point reflects what you get. I absolutely recommend coming here and giving the restaurant a try.

The food was very good. Service was excellent food taken out to our waiting car.
Everything arrived fresh and hot. The portion sizes looked normal to me, not sure what others are complaining about. We ordered 7 different items and they were all delicious. Will become a new go to place!

First time trying this place and so happy I did!! I usually went to Maygold years ago when they were actually decent but over the last few years the food and service has been terrible! Rainbow is the best Chinese food I've found on the south end oh the island. Food was fresh and not greasy like most places! Very good flavor and very friendly staff? will only order from here now on ?

We just moved to the area , our old place to order was purple garden Gordon head . Ordered 2 combos and chop Suey. I have never ordered chop Suey that had no noodles in it. I could not believ it it looked like beef and broccoli.Was big disappointment. Beef and broccoli was 4 tiny peice of beef and vey small amount of broccoli. The chicken balls which are usually crispy and deep fried were soaking wet with sauce no crisp and @ drenched in sauce . Jus wanted to cry. Don’t wasist money. You could tell broccoli was frozen prior.How this place is still open is beyond me
