This spot has some potential, simply change your menu completely, offer better hours, and reduce your prices. As others have stated, this is NOT Mexican food. Not in the ingredients or flavors. We got a Caesar salad with what I can only describe as un-seasoned boiled chicken breast and nachos which resembled hamburger helper slopped on top. Again not seasoned. At all. There was a salsa adjacent dip (canned diced tomatoes?) Has the owner been to Mexico? When? Which all-inclusive resort inspired this menu? No salsa and chips either.I will give one star for the $6.50 margarita, but the nachos were almost $30! Honestly this meal almost ruined my trip. Please go somewhere else.

We met friends here for Happy Hour. It was mid week and few customers were seated when we arrived at fourish. We asked if we could put two tables together and the waitress gave a sour look. We were told the place closes at 5pm. The food we ordered was ok, the guacamole/sourcream/salsa dip was exceptional. Parking on the street, near ferries. Handy location but less than welcoming.

We used to go here every other month or so for some home made well done and fairly authentic mexican cuisine. Then they dropped the chimichanga, which was by far one of the best dishes available. I continue to hope for its return. The ceviche is filling and also excellent. Beer selection is bottled (including Modelo, Dos Equis). Margarita's are tasty with nicely spiced rims.

Popped in late pm on a sunday after arriving in Victoria. Greeted by a lovely waitress good local beer . I had the chilli which was perfectly spiced added some home made hot sauce . Beware the Jalepeno on the side ???.

The food was pretty bad, nothing is remotely fresh, the guac tastes like it could be from a discount grocery store, the ice cream tastes like it’s made from opossum or maybe otter milk. I could only assume a Caucasian person who has never been south of the 49th parallel is in charge of that menu. Though the food was bad the service was fine, and the restaurant was surprisingly clean, I thought there would be more dust since everything is nailed to the wall, like no open spaces, if there could have been a blank space, bam nail a corona bucket to the wall. Last gripe, the napkins are a weird 80’s pink color that matches nothing.

This little cafe is quaint and just far enough off the Main Street (less than a block) that lets it boast super relaxing, quiet space with all day happy hour deals. Service was wonderful. We shared a platter of shredded chicken nachos and drinks. Cool little find to take a breath!
Fresh and tasty food, sumptuous portions, reasonable prices, great service!

4/5/23. I really wanted to like this place; it was just okay. I had nachos with shredded chicken. A side of salsa, guacamole and sour cream accompanied the nachos. It looked great, but everything tasted bland to this Spanish girl, which is a sad commentary for a Mexican themed eatery. The $6 lime margarita was tasty though. I had two!

Cute little place just around the corner from the harbor. Only open 11 to 5 or so, but it's happy hour all day here with $6 beers. Menu is somewhat limited as they only serve Mexican fare.
Great food and great service
