This Detroit-style pizza is only available Saturdays (you have to order ahead and pick it up yourself), but it's worth it. It makes sense when you realize this is the passion project of a Twitch streamer, and the comparative hassle of getting your hands on a pie doesn't matter when you try the end product: a fantastic focacia-like dough loaded with toppings and featuring Detroit's signature cheese crust. Toppings are in reverse order like a Chicago deep-dish, spread out to the very edges of the pan (hence the lace-like crust of seared cheese) and then finished with "racing stripe" dollops of sauce.Pickup is currently at The Joint--the pizza-maker uses their kitchen while livestreaming the entire pizza-making process--but I wouldn't be surprised to see this become a full-time thing with its own storefront.A single $25 pie fed two adults with plenty of leftovers.
