Honestly, that breakfast spot was a bit of a letdown. They slapped on an extra six bucks for just two measly hash brown sticks with the Benny – seriously? I've seen pics in reviews with proper hash browns, so that's kinda weird. It's like their food quality does a weekend vs. weekday thing. And don't even get me started on the espresso. It tasted like burnt drip coffee. The fact that the place was pretty empty might say something. Head over to the joint across the street. You'll get way more bang for your buck there. It's worth the wait.

We wanted a decent brunch without waiting for an hour on a Sunday morning. We popped into the Sherwood, we’re seated within 15 minutes and had a delicious meal. Coffee was excellent too! We’ll be back!

Hands down the best brunch spot in town by a mile!Super friendly service, and crazy high quality dishes (especially considering the competitive prices). The best part is there’s practically never a line to wait in. Skip the usual tourist traps and swing by here for much better and much faster breakfast.

We stumbled onto this restaurant after walking to two recommended breakfast places with lines out the door and ready to give up. The Sherwood was across from one of these places and it not only was not crowded but was wonderful. Our server was incredibly friendly and the Eggs Benny and Eggs from Hell were delish. Eggs from Hell were like an incredibly flavorful shakshuka. We felt like we lucked out finding this place; I don’t even think it showed up on the map when plugging in “breakfast”, but it was a standout.

Best food I’ve ever eaten , service is phenomenal, amazing environment, 10/10 recommended. Ally was our server and made sure we got our food as quick as we could even when it was busy.

Went for dinner on July 21 and was told it was their last night of dinner service. This was disappointing because the food served to my group (Nicoise Salad, steak, and duck) was incredible. We cleaned our plates. We shared a bottle of wine with dinner and it was lovely. They still have a day menu and a coffee bar so I’ll be sure to try them again for their day menu.

Was an absolute hidden gem for our first trip to Victoria. We were heading to a highly recommended place across the street that had a line for brunch, too long for us. Took a shot at Sherwood and am thankful now for that long line across the street. Would absolutely make this stop again the next time we’re back in Victoria. Service was amazing and some how, the food was even better!

Oh that breakfast sandwich…. I got the aji verde breakfast sandwich with a side of bacon and it was delicious! The eggs in the omelette were so fluffy and flavourful. All the flavours meld together beautifully and it is very satisfying. The brioche bun was soft and fresh. The portion sizes are plentiful.Modern chic vibe and friendly staff.Service was fairly quick

We’ve been here for brunch, dinner, a drink at the bar and take out coffee. The drinks, food, and service are all amazing. My partner and I are both vegetarian and there are many options for both of us. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area. We’ll be back for sure.

Solid brunch place! Gluten free option replaces the English muffin with a hash brown and is an absolutely delicious combination!

Sherwood has been a longtime favourite of mine, and after my dinner here tonight, I felt inspired to share my experience. The staff do a wonderful job delivering personable service. Tonight I ordered the trout and I shared the polenta cubes —a favourite I discovered during my last visit. The non-alcoholic cocktails wereso interesting and delightful. A perfect pair to any entree. I can’t wait to return :)

Honestly a nice place to get some early morning food before you start your day. The menu is limited but it makes up for it in style and taste that makes it more worth the experience. The craft morning cocktail paired well with it.
