Ordered a bunch of drinks for friends and the bartender handed me the card machine ready to be tapped and so i did. I later realized that he had put a 11$ tip without me noticing. Absolutely sketchy and probably illegal.

The service is terribleDrinks are so bad, they obviously don't know how to make any proper cocktails, they can't even get it right when you order a ginger ale.The bathrooms are so dirty and grossThe food is mediocre. They charge $15!??? to get into the restaurant, but the DJ is honestly sooo bad.Don't waste your time here, not worth it

Don't go. I think it was time we left without leaving a tip. It was expensive enough for what we got. Service is bad and food mediocre at best and you are lucky if you get what you ordered. Bathrooms not super either. Very disappointing

The scene is a darkened restaurant. A group of 20 friends are gathering to celebrate their friends’ birthday with a reservation made for a private area. They arrive between 8 and 8:30 PM. One orders a virgin margarita on the rocks and another orders a margarita on the rocks. When they arrive, neither are mixed or prepared properly. The water bottles are empty. 45 minutes pass and the friends are chatting, shouting over the loud music, focusing on enjoying each other’s company while getting hungrier by the moment. A server arrives at the table and the guests ask to order their food. The server says that they cannot take food orders right now because they are training a new server, on their second shift, but they have taken food orders for ⅓ of the group already. The friends are very hungry. One friend is so hungry that she cannot wait any longer for food. She leaves. Another friend, when discussing the terrible service, wonders if something will get spilled tonight. The final guests arrive and the guests rearrange the tables so that there is enough space for everyone to sit, unstacking tables and lifting/carrying them across the room. It is shortly after 9:30, when a third server joins and apologizes for the terrible service so far. With the idea of a guest, we all write numbers on our hands to help the third server and new server out. The original mentor server never returns. We order our food. Orders begin to arrive. Beef gringas become chicken gringas, or maybe quesadillas. Drink are spilled on the stairs. A sauce makes enchiladas too salty to eat. 2 hours and 15 minutes after arriving, The Grilled Carne Asada arrives in a cute pig bowl valued at $220 according to Google and apparently made from volcanic rock. The pico de gallo that the guest had been looking forward to and that had been part of the reason for ordering this dish was absent. Instead of a bed of rice, there was a spoonful. Refried beans and overcooked meat without any of the vibrant flavours typically experienced in Mexican food - a guest compares it to hospital food. A guest had dietary restrictions and they were told that their order was lost. Their order shows up for another guest 5 minutes later. Fed up with the service and with one correct item on bill, the guest leaves in a state of distress. The manager runs out after them, yelling at them into the street night air. Due to the group size, gratuity was included as standard practice. Was this an episode of days of our lives that went from laughable chaos to emotional numbness at the distress of it? No. This was a night where we wanted to have a blast celebrating our friend’s birthday and unfortunately Sonora was the venue. To the server who tried to make up for all the mishaps, we recommend you find a better workplace as you gave great service within your scope of control. To the new server, we recommend you find a place where your learning curve will be a just right challenge and you don’t have to work with high demands for productivity based on group size on the second day of your job. Also, for people with asthma like me, there is a fog machine and it is difficult to breathe at times.

Went for birthday party. Drinks were very, and clearly watered down, explaining why a cocktail was 8.75. The beer was good. The service was not the best, they were clearly overwhelmed. We tried to help by suggesting a number system which seemed to work. The server was trying her best to save the night. However the food was under seasoned, got the orders wrong,, mine was half right so I accepted it. They seemed to not really care about allergy issues, so one person just refused to eat rather end up in the hospital. My first experience, and my last.Dietary restrictions: They did not take them seriously

We went for a friend's birthday and had a terrible experience. Customer service was inexcusable, they messed up drink and food orders, and the staff were disrespectful. We were in good company with our friends and the night was fun, but it had nothing to do with the restaurant. Highly recommend going somewhere where there actually appreciate your business as this place does not, which is really sad. Hopefully they improve on everything.
