I called and asked a few questions as I hadn't decided 100% what I wanted to order. The suggestion 1st given to me was what I ordered. A slightly modified za with Bacon. Fresh tomatoes. Cheese. Tomato SauceIt was delicious. It was not my first time picking up, which is why I was back. Very consistent quality thin crust with a fantastic soft yet chewy dough. Bravo!

In from out of town goggled top rated. Did not disappoint.
Decent pie, rude employees. Everyone gave us the stink eye when we picked up our order. What up with that? Was it because we didn't pay a 20% tip on the $70 we paid to pick up 2 pizzas?

I recently attempted to call to order a pizza while I was in town (I live in Sooke so rarely get to this part of town anymore) and was asked to be placed on hold. The person puts the phone down and proceeds to help someone in the store. They get their pie and leave. The next person walks in and the front of house person gets their name and allows them to pay. I sit waiting for this person to remember me, but proceeds to help customers walking into the shop as well as doing other work. I can hear them the whole time. Completely forgets about me for 5 minutes. Ten minutes roll by with me sitting in my car, and I try to get their attention as the phone is not on hold but put down, but I cannot for the life of me get them to grab the handset. I hang up and try to call back. It’s busy. I proceed to try 39 more times before I call it quits and drive for home super mad and frustrated. Attempted to contact them to voice this and no response from socials. Not coming back here even though I enjoy their food. Service this bad means I will eat other places.

TL;DR - I'm not mad, just disappointed. Inexplicably rude customer service ruins an otherwise decent pie.I travelled across the country to be snubbed by a Walmart brand Colin Farrell hipster. Cool, cool, cool.But in all seriousness, it was almost comical the level of disdain that the front counter exhibited towards me. Last I checked, ordering a pizza is a perfectly acceptable thing to do in a pizzeria, but I'm new to the island, what do I know.I didn't even know it was possible to perform a full body eye-roll.Twice.I ordered two pizzas.Anyways, pizza was fine; good chew, decent amount of toppings, fairly typical sauce.To the staff in the kitchen, I'd recommend finding someone less condescending to be your customer facing agent. It's a shame to see good work ruined by someone clearly not suited for the position. Sorry, if he's your boss. You deserve better.3/5 - Can't say I'll be coming back to this pizzeria. Mediocre food served with a smile is preferable to exceptional food served with a side of excrement. And I got a whopping pile from that guy.

First time ordering from Standard Pizza and it was excellent ! I had the special - chorizo and tomato pizza - just the right amount of toppings and cheese. Guys were chill and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

The name is pretty appropriate. Pretty standard pizza....in that it doesn't really stand out much. I ordered the meat lovers pizza and found it to be just ok.

Great pizza with good ingredients. No idea how people think this is "italian style" its nothing like Italian pizza, but it is good.4 stars because they have no online order or delivery service AND have no place to eat inside, AND theres usually a 60-120 minute wait time for orders.Some of the pizza is really a bit unique, you won't find typical Italian options except "margherita supreme" but even that is a bit of an elaboration on the classic. Curiously you also don't find typical US/CAN options exactly either... but many options are great, its the best pizza in Victoria, but its not really traditional Italian, more of a hybrid that leans towards Italian.
