A coworker and I went for Lunch. Not at all what we were expecting. We tried the fixed price, lunch special "whatever" for $30 / person (minimum 2 people). A great variety of dishes, but all very small and had to be shared between us. Fortunately we are good friends, and didn't mind each other's chopsticks in the shared plates, but this is not appropriate for a business lunch. I want my own tiny Kimchi, not to share it with someone. For $30 and for the size of the portion, I expect my own plates. The dishes themselves were mostly good, except the porridge was barely lukewarm, and the Mackerel was full of bones. I had to spend a few minutes in the bathroom with a toothpick, digging a bone out of my gums. When they asked if they could take it away, I said it was full of bones and I could not eat it - no response, no replacement, no discount. The regular menu prices are absurdly high as well. They are clearly trying to pay off their recent renovations. This is not a restaurant you'd visit a second time. You go once, pay a small fortune, laugh at the robot, leave hungry, and never come back.

I really enjoyed this spot. The meat, sides and veggies were all really tasty and the servers were very helpful! Unlimited sides too with the combo meals. Really good value for what you get and I will 100% be coming

Met some friends for lunch here, the place looked nice, the staff were friendly greeting us. The food was good. We opted for the $30 pp lunch. I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting it to be as little as we got . I think it was overpriced for what we got. The food was good, though, and the robot that brought it over 5 feet from the kitchen was a funny concept, tooSmall dishes, a few small side dishes, all tasted good but most likely won't be trying again. They took away our pink chicken to recook, then brought it back with 1 piece missing, which puzzled us ?We wondered what the portions would be like if we ate soloMarch 19

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Sura Korean restaurant in Victoria, and I must say that it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I had heard good things about the place and was excited to try their offerings, but my visit turned out to be a huge disappointment due to the treatment we received.Arriving at the restaurant at 7:30 PM, well within their stated hours of operation, my party and I were shocked when we were promptly denied service and asked to leave. This abrupt refusal was both unexpected and unwarranted, as we were eager customers looking forward to enjoying a meal at Sura. The staff's demeanor towards us was quite disrespectful, leaving us feeling bewildered and humiliated. What added insult to injury was the fact that as we left the premises and started searching for another dining option, we noticed Sura Korean restaurant welcoming new customers inside. To our dismay, these new patrons were of Asian descent, and it appeared that they were being provided with the service we were denied. This observation only intensified our sense of disrespect and injustice. It is disheartening to encounter such discriminatory behavior in a place that is meant to be welcoming and inclusive. Discrimination in any form is unacceptable, and it undermines the principles of fairness and equality that we expect from establishments that serve the public. While I cannot comment on the quality of the food or the overall dining experience at Sura Korean restaurant, I am deeply disappointed by the treatment my party and I received. It is essential for businesses to treat all customers with respect, regardless of their ethnicity or any other distinguishing factor.I hope that Sura Korean restaurant takes this review as an opportunity for reflection and growth. Discrimination should never have a place in any establishment, and I sincerely hope that they reevaluate their policies and practices to ensure that every customer receives equal treatment and respect.

Delicious food, reasonably priced, and very well packaged. They also included free kimchi on the side as well.

Went with my friends at 7:30 and they weren’t closed and they told us they are closing and made us leave. After that many other customers went inside and got service there. This is an actual discriminatory act and needs to be addressed.

Both dishes were a real flop. I had taken a bibimbap because I had heard that it was a very good dish, but I honestly didn't like it! I honestly think it's not the dish itself but the way the restaurant makes it. The tastelessness was really bad, as was the chow mein, the service was mediocre and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really depressing.

Went there with my friends, at 7:30. Didn't let us in, saying they're closed, when there was multiple other customers in. Then minutes after that they let other customers in again. weird af.

Decided last minute for Korean BBQ with my visiting friend and we are thankful to have a grilling booth. The waitresses provided instructions to help my friend with the grilling even when they’re busy with other tables. I’m satisfied with the food portion and service.

Incredible food, I know it must be tough these days to keep staff on but we've never once been disappointed here. Cannot get enough!
