I've always ordered take away and they have gotten it done in a reasonable time. Sushi and chicken karage is great!!

4 rolls were all well crafted and a good size. Flavours were great with lots going on as most "fancy" rolls. Food arrived quickly and service was attentive. Restaurant was very cold, table beside was eating in their coats.

Good afternoon . Set number two from the menu. In general, both visually and in terms of taste, it is very worthy. This is the second time I eat from this establishment and I am pleased. Thank you to the staff of the establishment for your responsible attitude towards work and your efforts in every role. Strength and health to all of you guys. NOT GOOD ANYMORE!Beware! I used to love this place and something has happened. I bring home my food now and 90% of the time something is off. Cold rice, tough beef, weird flavours and smells that aren't supposed to be there. And I have decided(because they used to be SOOOOOO good)to give them the benefit of the doubt --- but after about the tenth time I have to let everyone know ...they are very hit and miss now and after several phone calls and messages with absolutely no response back to me about my unpleasant experiences I am not going back.... so order with caution and don't say I didnt warn you. So sad. I guess when you get popular you say screw the loyal customers cause we don't need them anymore. Well, don't worry you wont see me back there again.My old review:Small, no liquor, nice staff. The name is cute and so is the interior. Lots of options without a bulky menu. It's the way a sushi joint is supposed to be.

This Sushi Field use to serve excellent food. Their Japanese food was one of the finest in Victoria.The last several times ordering food, I and others have been extremely disappointed. For example, each time ordering prawn tempera, has been greasy and each piece is skinny with little prawn. At least when the cook put more batter on the prawn, it presentation appeared more eatable.I seldom gives comments, but the quality of food is so poor these days, I decided to write a review. It seems to me that when the owner was present or cooking, Sushi Fields food was like fine dining. So disappointed these days. One comment I will make is dinner/lunch inside Sush Field is much better.
