Burger cones with salad or fries, I said salad, waiters said green or Caesar, I said Caesar. When the bill came, I was charged $3 which he hadn’t told me about. I had already paid the waiter before I noticed. He was going off his shift, so I had settled up him. As I left, I mentioned it to the hostess , who immediately pulled up the menu to show me the fine print at the bottom which says Caesar salad was extra. No apologies- it was my mistake for not reading the fine print. Couldn’t the waiter just have said, you can have green salad, or Cesar for $3 more. He is aquatinted with the fine print of the menu, not me. I told the hostess it would have been a better experience if I had known. She just smiled and nodded. Obviously she didn’t care about my experience there. I was disappointed. I’m a local and want to support this place.

Very disappointing first visit. Four of us went for dinner before show at Belfry. Wonton Soup was much too salty. Poutine should be taken off the menu. Sad version, with horrible gravy. Only two of four found the food ok (it would be a one star rating otherwise). The two others wished we’d gone elsewhere. The restaurant was also extremely cold. No one could explain why they let people use side doors as well as main entrance, which resulted in horrible drafts.
