Cool place to have a drink on a patio in LangfordStandard menu. Nothing special. The server mixing drinks has no idea how to make sangria. I got red wine with ice. Took about 4 times until I gave up a got a rum and coke. Each time took 20 minutes.

Excellent hotel. Requested early checking as a Platinum Marriott Member. When we arrived art he hotel we were upgraded but our room was not ready. It was 4 pm, 3 hrs after we intended to arrive. Went back to our original room but it took 15 minutes to check in. Rooms are spacious clean. Breakfast was very good as was the service

The hotel is very nice looking. There could be some little things done to make it a little better. The Telus tv was very glitchy and the internet would not allow me to access my shaw account from home to watch something on my laptop. There was no way to access the panel without moving a heavy counter. When looking for it found an empty water bottle stuck behind the counter. The room was a little small, not much room to move around in it. On the other hand the bathroom was huge and the hooks on the wall was nice to just hang your coat on. Overall for the price a bit underwhelming.

Had a 5 night stay recently with my husband. My favourite four items: 1) All the wait staff were super friendly, courteous and efficient; 2) We only had breakfasts at the hotel, but they were very good and plentiful; 3) The grounds are beautifully landscaped; not all hotels have such inspired flowerscapes; and, 4) the beds and pillows were very comfortable. A few minutes out of the downtown core, but easily accessed by the Trans Canada. Recommended.

Our two-week stay was a great experience. The suite two Queen beds corner guest room was a great size and a value for the price. However, with the new soaps and conditioner pump bottles hanging off the walls, the limited space is significantly reduced for turning around. A wand-style showerhead would have improved some of these concerns. However, the hotel maintenance staff were accommodating and installed one we provided within ten minutes. Of particular note is the location of the corner suite, the distance from the elevator adds an additional difficulty for mobility-challenged individuals, as walking in one direction is quite a distance. The daily construction across the street also discouraged using our balcony or opening our windows to enjoy Victoria's spring air. We did not eat at the hotel pub as the menu did not appeal to us, and breakfast was not included. Still, there are various nearby restaurant options to satisfy our needs. The indoor pool was cool but refreshing, with our swim limited to no more than 15 minutes. A continuing challenge is the free parking at the hotel, as more is needed because guests compete for spots with the pub and construction workers across the road. Too often, someone would occupy the two accessible locations, and the rest of the parking lot would also be full. However, the front desk staff was terrific. We will definitely look to returning to the hotel in the future.

Pretty good pool area and clean but zero music! That would be a nice touch if some music was playing! I paid a lot here on this business trip but because, I was told, I booked through a 3rd party, (Expedia), to find this place, we did not get any discount offer for breakfast here and that made no sense. Not even 10%, really? The restaurant is attached to the hotel and not that busy today on a Sunday. That would have brought us in the doors and not to head to a Tim Hortons. Management should reconsider this seriously and not to just money grab!

I picked this hotel as it was near where I was visiting in Langford. The weather was horrific and not suitable for driving the options were limited in the area. The first night of the stay was ok, uneventful, watching the traffic come and go from the Cosco next door. The second night was horrible as the people above our room were stomping around continually for hours. Somebody kicked our door at 2 am. We had asked for top floor but no luck. This hotel is noisy and I wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the money. On a positive note the staff we dealt with were excellent and refunded us a night. It isn't the staffs' fault there are inconsiderate idiots in the world. Steak house nearby by was good for dinners, great to get put of the room when snowed in.

At first glance the hotel is appealing and welcoming. They may be experiencing a lack in staffing as very evident when checking in to be stuck in a very long line with 2 employees only at the desk for 3pm check in time. Of my 30 friends all attending the same NYE event, none got their rooms on time. I waiting until 4:30 pm for mine putting me behind and lost time to use any amenties ie pool etc., or for preparing for a 6pm start for the party with the appetizers. Appetizers were very limited as the buffett also was. very basic food, ie. a salad bun basket, pasta dish, potato surprise, and an overcooked beef hip at the end of the table. Desserts were very limited also. The bar was also understaff for the numbers attending. Very long lineups and $9 a drink was certainly too steep. Sure didn't feel like the $85 plus tax tickets worth. The saving grace for this event was the fantastic band and terrific crowd I was with to ring in the new year.

Server was nice. We were the first ones to get there, so it was a bit quiet at 5pm. Free parking just outside or behind/beside the hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights upon moving to Victoria and waiting for our house to close and receive the keys. Room was very comfortable for 3 people, hotel was clean and front desk staff were friendly. Hotel is conveniently located by Millstream, so there were grocery and dinner options. My only complaint was the pet fee...when I booked the room I was told that pets were allowed for a nightly fee, which is standard. What I wasn't told was that it was $35/night per pet plus taxes, which equalled over $160.00 for 2 cats for 2 nights. Considering I paid between $25-$35/night as a flat pet fee at the other chain hotels we stayed at as we moved cross country, this came as a bit of a sticker shock, which I had to then explain to my company who was paying to relocate us. I guess my fault for not asking, but still seemed an excessive amount to charge.

Our stay here was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly. Only downside is that my rental car was hit by a suitcase in the parking lot and marked up; the person did not leave a note or contact the front desk (this however, is not the hotel's fault). Unfortunately, no cameras on the back side of the parking.

Nice rooms Small swimming pool but nice Roof top juste above some rooms (that’s why I gave only 4 stars because the staff lady didn’t tell us about that when we check in) A bit of noise till 10/11 pm nothing horrible but you should be warned about it
