Both dishes we ordered were warm not hot. Kung Pao Chicken had very tiny bits of chicken and lots of celery and onion. House Specialty Chow Mein hardly had any sprouts, meat just a few shrimps. Very cheaply made dishes.

I had basically given up on Chinese cuisine in this city but thought I’d give one last place a shot. Amazing!!! Fresh and delicious. The dinner for 1 is easily 2-3 meals. And their dry garlic pork is sooo good. Highly recommend.

Ordered on skip. Don't get the Chicken curry, bland, chicken was very poor quality, gristly, fatty, couldn't eat the chicken. Veg was fine.

Toishan Kitchen has good food, ok pricing, and ok service. We ordered dinner for 4 and appys . Egg rolls and pot stickers came out like any appetizers would but the 5 dish main meal came out the same way and wanting to eat the meal as a whole, we were left sitting looking at each entree throughout the 15 mins as we watched the 5 dishes, 1 at a time, make it to our table. It wasn't busy yet, but it was kinda bizarre!!Food was good, I'm doing take out next timeVegetarian options: Some choicesDietary restrictions: Not the place for any of that, stay at homeParking: 50 +- free spots
New chinese restaurant in town, my family has been going and doing lots of pickup lately. Has a well rounded menu, lots to choose from. Has some more traditional Chinese dishes rather then western style Chinese food (yes they have sweet n sour etc). Nice and clean inside, pretty epic fish tank at the front (not on the menu). Highly recommend this place.

It's really a quite acceptable dining experience. To the average North American palate this is what you expect when you want chinese food. If you are adventurous, there are a few dishes that may be just what you want. For me, it was good home cooking style food. The Sichuan beef tasted just like the jarred sauce I use at home. Nothing wrong with it it was actually quite good, just not what I was expecting from a restaurant claiming authenticity. The Sichuan green beans were fresh but could have had a bit more sauce for additional taste and would have benefitted from being blistered / charred during the cooking process. Please don't let my criticisms stop you from trying this restaurant. We ate all of our food and will be back. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the cloth tablecloth was appreciated even with the dried streak of spilled food on the side of it. Service was great ,attentive, and friendly.
Prawns were good. Some of the Sweet & Sour pork was stringy and I had a hard time finding any chicken in the chowmein.May I suggest adding some chopsuey instead of so much chowmein in the combo orders.
