“Very good food and prices. There are several choices in west Kelowna, but they are all very good, the difference is cost, and thesCalifornia RollPrawn TempuraSpicy Tuna Roll.e guys are the cheapest hit to thCalifornia Rolle pocket book Highly recommend. 5 stars“
“We don’t have a whole lot of options for food in west Kelowna but I’ve been sleeping on this restaurant for far too long! Amazing portions for the prices, our food came out steaming (as you can see) and incredibly flavourful, their in house smoked salmon is delicious and fresh. I will definitely be back! Also, was one of the only places open on Boxing Day that wasn’t fast food!We ordered;beef hot plate - portion was pretty big, it came with a big bowl of rice aswell 10/10Salad rolls to start - they were massive! I could have just eaten those alone.. so yummy 10/10Diamond roll - the cold smoked salmon was sooo good I was pulling it out of the roll to eat 11/10Sunomono salad - very refreshing and not too overpowering 10/10“
“By far the best sushi in Kelowna. A lovely and fresh ambient interior, paired with polite and friendly staff. The food is high quality and there are certainly unique flavor profiles not to be found elsewhere in the city. A gem on their menu is the homemade salad dressing which is absurdly delicious.“
“Fantastic! Kasai is one of Kelowna's best dining experiences. While the prices may be shocking, don't be fooled as the ambience grill side is second to none as chef hosts offer up an authentically skilled engagement of culinary intrigue and communal banter. Our chef Walter was incredible. Originating from Mexico City, he worked his way throughout multiple countries before joining Kasai in Kelowna BC Canada. A pleasure to know him and sit with family while he delighted us with the craftsmanship of his talents and his personable conversation. Thank you Walter. All those considering Kasai please do! This gem is a spectacular addition to the Okanagan culinary scene.“
“Very good sushi. One of the best negitoro rolls that I have had in a long time. Tight rolls that don't fall apart even with a lot of components. Fast and friendly service at a good price. And they have the crumb topping! Will be ordering again very soon.“
“A classic sushi restaurant with all the typical fusion options. Its busy for takeout and so the chef brought me the food which was pleasant.I loved the v5 roll and the quality of the rice and roll presentation is appreciated too.I would prefer takeout as the atmosphere is casual but certainly worth my business- I came 2 days in a row to get my sushi fix ?Will be back next time I come to Kelowna.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Nice surprise to find a homey Japanese restaurant here in West Kelowna. my wife and I both got bentos to sample as much as possible w/out over-stuffing ourselves. the kid got a couple rolls and we shared an Agedashi tofu.the nigiri seemed fresh for what we were expecting, HUGE BONUS! my only complaint (and a minor one at that) would be that the tempura seemed a bit over done (color and slightly greasy). the tofu however was pretty good as was everything else we had. oh... large bottles of the beer would be nice too. came back with the wife for sushi and maki rolls before headed back to California and definitely a nice find. the tempura was better this time so maybe just a bad fried food night the last time. fish was fresh and portions are decent sized for the quality. minor complaint is that all the Asian restaurants we've been to up here seem to use breast meat for everything chicken. makes certain stir fries and definitely the chicken karaage much less yummy. ah well.“
“Excellent vegan options! Most of the menu is or can be made vegan. Lots of vegan gluten free options too. The food was delicious too. Will absolutely be back!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Lots of vegan and gluten free options“
“the staff at Ume never disappoint! having lived in the lower mainland in Burnaby, I had become accustomed to authentic top of the line sushi. Ume and the quality of food they provide is right on par with the best sushi restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. the staff make you feel welcome, they are very knowledgeable and professional and the quality of the food is exceptional. with authenticity and care, the food is absolutely delicious. my girlfriend and I frequently visit Ume to satisfy our Japanese food cravings. thank you to the team at Ume, please don't ever stop being so amazing!!“
“First time trying this place and will definitely be back. Food was fresh, flavorful and amazing. I've seen other reviews complaining that there wasn't a large variety of sushi but the rest of the extensive options in the menu greatly made up for that.Very well presented and the price was extremely reasonable. Service was very friendly and efficient. Thank you for the wonderful dinner ???“
“We love Kojo Westside!! They have the best food. my husband and my eldest daughter crave the Kojo Ramen dish every week. My youngest daughter has Celiac Disease and she always gets Kapa rolls and Salmon Nigri. I switch it up. Everything is fresh. Their customers always come first. There was a misunderstanding and my youngest daughter is very anxious about her food because if she eats gluten she gets sick. Well her Kappa rolls were in the same container as my California rolls. I called them and they delivered a brand new set of Kappa rolls for her. She was so happy and finally relaxed knowing she could eat without getting sick. Thank you so much for going out of your way to deliver her food. You guys are Amazing!!“
“The service was great, the servers were super kind and answered all my questions. Now THE FOOD. The Beef pho was the best pho I’ve ever had. The beef was super tender and the server said it was boiling for 6 hours while the broth was super rich. The restaurant was super cute with a lot of decoration and had a very personal feel. Super Local and Super nice 10/10 (The pho was also very affordable only being 15.70$ after tax)“
“LOVED their Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodles). I had a hard time finding a restaurant in Canada that replicates the authentic Jjamppong flavour from Korea (even in Toronto and Vancouver areas), and this restaurant does this dish some justice. Highly recommend for their Korean noodle dishes.“
“Gluten-free real crab California rolls!! As a Celiac-challenged restaurant-goer, it's really hard to find GF sushi in Kelowna. Bluetail Sushi on Spall has been my go-to since moving here. The GF real crab Cali rolls are fresh, delicious, and imho, a decent portion size! They're aware of Celiac requirements and offer GF soy sauce. I def recommend!“
“I've lived in West Kelowna my whole life and have grown up going to this restaurant with my family. Every time we come in, Yanny never fails to remember my family and the things that we have talked about. Her and her husband are incredibly kind people, and the food is freshly made upon arrival. Delicious!!“
