Sad to see them be gone. My last visit was some time ago. They had no seating only take out. Our little group used to meet here on Tuesdays before Covid. I'll miss them and their cardamon cookies.

Apparently Voila was too beautiful for this world. Showed up this morning (7/15/23) for the best croissants (by far!) in the DMV and was heartbroken to see an empty storefront and a For Lease sign. Service counter, patisserie display case etc. all gone. Vaya con dios, Voila!

Our sweet pastries (beautiful!) were definitely a bit of the sweet side, but the savory pastries nailed it. The real star was Nikolai who made us great coffee, answered all of our questions, and made everything sound so good that we walked away with more than we expected to. We'll be back!

I've tried this bakery two times and have been disappointed each visit. The cakes all taste the same and are suuuper dry. They also taste like the refrigerator which makes me think they are sitting in a fridge for days. Disappointed considering each piece is $6.

Stopped by here after going to another store in shopping center. I got 3 pastries to try and they looked good on the outside but they were dry inside.

Stopped in at Voila Pastry & Cafe yesterday. The display counter was so beautiful and I had a hard time choosing. There were macarons and other beautiful cookies. I selected three cakes: Raspberry Chambord, Lemon Merengue and a chocolate. They were AMAZING! Some of the best cakes / tortes I've ever had. Definitely will be back for more.

We tried a chocolate shortbread cookies ($21.98/lb) and several pastries (opera, revenge, marjolaine, and butter pecan torte $6.75/ea). They were OK - nothing spectacular. Weirdly they actually tasted better the second day when we finished what was left.If I were in the area, I might stop by but I wouldn't go out of my way

I've been here a handful of times. Their dessert selection includes artistically prepared mini tarts, cakes, scones, and muffins. The Pastries are honestly almost too delicious to eat. Desserts aside, the best tasting items on their menu are by far their freshly baked croissants. The traditional croissant, the almond croissant, the feta spinach pastry, and the ham and cheese pastry are all outstanding. I don't think I'll ever go back to the sweets at Voila because their croissants are seriously that good. I do wish that Voila had more of a cozy feel. I'd love to bring my laptop and do a little work there with a cup of coffee and a fresh breakfast pastry. Currently there is no indoor seating due to COVID. Hoping this is something they consider in the future.

Nestled in the center of a run of the mill strip mall, this little slice of heaven is a must visit. Seriously, if you blink you will miss this place, which is a shame because its a true hidden gem. Upon entering, you are greeted with a not-so-large display case of pastries, and a window into the onsite pastry making operation. While the small selection may seem...not big, it wasn't until I tried a couple that it dawned on me that maybe, just maybe, we don't always need a huge selection of things to choose from. Sometimes all you need is what's directly in front of you. Instead of making a wide range of goods, this cafe sticks to and excels at what it knows, and it knows what is good for you because you cant go wrong with anything there. The cafes wholesomeness was reinforced for me when a customer walked in and greeted the worker by name, then engaged in a conversation familiar to the two of them as if they have done it many times before. This is that neighborhood gem frequented and supported by the local community that is in the know. And now you are too. The little cookies with the raspberry hearts, butter croissants and the iced mocha grandes are my go to whenever I go.

Came here at 8AM as soon as they opened on a Saturday to grab some pastries. Ordered a Lemon Meringue & Raspberry cake, along with a Green Tea & Chai. The meringue was great, would absolutely get this again. The raspberry had a very sweet icing, almost reminding me of a birthday cake icing, but the cake itself was very good. Just be weary of the icing. The Chai wasn't my favorite, probably wouldn't order this again. I would come back here to try some of their other pastries.

Looking for a pastry spot well you found it located in the heart of Alexandria with one of the Best croissants I've ever tasted in decades. All their pastry are made fresh daily, perfect for parties or family reunions. Their croissants are made fresh daily and limited so make sure to get there early or place your order or else you'll miss out. Staff here is super friendly, place is always kept clean and inviting. If you live in the area and haven't tasted these delicious desserts make sure to stop on it you won't regret it.
