One of the most beautiful restaurants in the West Vancouver region. We asked the chef Liam to feed us what he thought we'd enjoy and we were not disappointed. Crazy talented chef. Amazing place. I will be coming back here every time I visit the area. I only took one photo when the first appetizer arrived because I was too busy to drink my food.

A very pretty little restaurant in Quaint Dundarave. Love their selection of artwork. The food is divine. The portions are smaller so you can experience a starter or get a few things to share as there are so many great things to choose from and it's hard to decide. Our server was fantastic and there is a small but very well thought out wine list. If dining alone, the bar is so delightful to sit at and beautifully lit. This is a lovely restaurant for romantic dinners and dinner with close friends. I like smaller restaurants like Bar Olo as it not as busy or loud like others and you don't feel rushed. Do yourself a favour and check this restaurant out.

Had such a great experience last night at Bar Olo. The food was amazing and service was superb. Definitely going to be the new go to spot for ambleside dinners.Oh and the Brussel sprouts… To die for!Dietary restrictions: I’m vegan and the owner personally came over to discuss an unlimited amount of options for me. The chef ended up surprising me with my favourite ingredients and it was fantastic.

Avoid this restaurant unless you want to overpay for no reason. My fiancé and I finally decided to try Bar Olo a couple blocks away from us hoping it’ll be a place we go regularly. The service is good, the atmosphere is ok but the food is a huge disappointment! We ordered the butternut squash cappelletti and the risotto. The cappelletti simply had no flavour and was so bland. The risotto was undercooked and the flavours didn’t blend with each other appropriately. Simply put, overpriced small portion food with absolutely no quality nor flavour. We will not be back and don’t recommend.
