Really like going to Handi.Location: very conveniently located right by John Larson Park/Ambleside Beach. Parking is ample. Clean interior, Exotic Indian Atmosphere. Big Glass Windows to sit by if Date or just to enjoy the view on a nice sunny day.Staff do their best always to be courteous and accommodating.Parm is the Manager and is very polite and does his best to remember names.Menu has good selection for Vegetarians, and Meat eaters who enjoy Beef, Chicken or Mutton. They offer a feeling of a more stylish upscale Indian restaurant with their Silverware and cutlery. Our family regularly orders from here or comes in to eat. Easy to get a seat quickly and Food is prepared quickly. Pricing is fair and portions are just nice. For Spicy Lovers just ask them to give it to you how Local Indians would love it...haha.For Kids see belowKid-friendliness: Also spicy level can be tailored just let the staff know. So when I come in with kids I can ask for Mild and they are very accommodating.

From the food, to the staff, to the music, this place is a favourite. It was my birthday and the staff all wished me a happy birthday while ordering and while leaving. The food is so good and I am always looking forward to any leftovers I have the next day. A family favorite.Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options, all tasty and nutritious

If I could give this place negative stars I would.First, they sent the food with no rice, then lied about sending it. Insisted that they sent it and were really rude to us about it.Second, they picked up the phone and left it on hold so that we couldn’t call again. We were then forced to eat our food with no rice, in which the curry dishes were more like soup with about 4 pieces of meat in them.We pay $180 for probably the worst meal we have ever had. How the hell this place has 4 stars is beyond me

“ Got steal wool metal in our vegetable korma” Really disappoint from this place. I went there with my family for dinner services are below 0 rating.-This restaurant does not have chair for small kid where they can sit.-Washrooms are so dirty-Dine in Tables are so dirty-No napkins provides-Cutlery has dirty marks on itThe Main show happen when we got steal wool metal in our vegetable korma. The time i complaint about it to the server (i think he is the manager in that place) he show me different attitude about that incident he is not showing his even 0.1% interest to solve this default in there food. Final we got bill with full charges

Great curries last night in this restaurant. Very large portions of rice and good curry portion. We had the chicken kara and the murgh vindaloo. Both were delicious. It was early evening and the restaurant was quiet so can't comment on the atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient.

Handi, is an exceptional Indian restaurant that took my taste buds on an unforgettable journey. The extensive menu showcases the diversity of Indian cuisine, with each dish crafted to perfection. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was inviting. Prices were reasonable, making it a fantastic value. Treat yourself to the delightful flavors of India at Handi—you won't be disappointed!

When visiting Vancouver this was one of our favourite places to go out and eat! The service was friendly and the food was delicious. It is a small unassuming restaurant that is a hidden gem! Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

This place is great to have Indian food in West Vancouver. Butter chicken is best and their chicken briyani is also mouth watering. Staff is also friendly. Must visit this place.?
