Heirloom Ambleside is not a repeat place for me. Coconut does not go with coffee plus the coffee is so bitter it's over the top bitter. Pastries are below average for flavour texture and freshness.

I ordered pancakes for lunch today. Dish presentation was spectacular but the pancakes were undercooked and doughy. I was really disappointed.

Appreciate the plant based and vegan friendly approach. The food is well prepared and pretty to look at, but I found my keto bowl to be underseasoned and lacking in flavor overall. A salad that was ordered at the same time had good acidity and salt from the grilled haloumi, so I'd say its an issue with consistency, not quality. Smoothies and pastries are well made and tasty.

Great food and service. Location is on point with lots of street parking. I was able to pick up my food and enjoy a nice walk to the beach. Can’t beat the choices and the staff are so nice. One of my favourites off the menu is the kale salad. I also have to say the coffee and snacks are great too if I you just want to grab a small bite. I will definitely be back.

It's a beautiful space, right by the water with a nice patio. However the food was better at the other location, both times I've gone my order was slightly incorrect. The entrance way gets crowded and it's not exactly laid out clearly for covid procedures.

I use to love this place but my last visit for take away - they forgot my fries and there was a giant long hair in my burger patty ;( they did offer me to come back for a refund but eww.

Wow so good!!! Finding out that I would never be able to have gluten on dairy again getting food has been so difficult. Finding Heirloom has changed eating out for me! I thought I would never be able to have good pizza again. Thank you!

Really tasty coffee, but that's about it. It has potential for much more, as the setting and interior is really nice, but they are lacking staff, tables are dirty, and don't even try going to the washrooms. For what you are paying for the coffee and food, it is a shame. I truly hope it will change!! Let's see how it will look like after they re-open for seating inside...

extremely slow service and the kitchen didn't get my order right, i said no mushrooms and it came full of them. When I could clearly see the bill said no mushrooms and the cook got annoyed when she was told to remake it.

I watched a staff member fill her bottle at the water station by putting the spigot directly into the mouth of the bottle to fill and then after proceed to drink from the mouth of her bottle. We had the table right beside the water station. Even if it wasn’t Covid times, that should NEVER be allowed. I also watched staff clean tables with a rag and then use same rag to wipe off the seats of the chairs. Not for me!

HONESTLY IT IS SUCH A CUTE VIBE IN THIS RESTAURANT!! Okay, so I was just looking at the other reviews and all and lemme be clear that this restaurant 100% follows covid guidelines cause its spotless. I see ppl running back and forth sanitizing everything and the people there are so friendly. Food is great and mmm THIS COFFEE THO. 10/10 recommend anyone whos looking for a nice chill environment and some good veggie and vegan bites!!

My family and I are (were) regulars at this place but the odd choice today to replace the previously delicious sourdough toast for the bennies with a fried vegetable patty will stop that. The Ambleside breakfast has also been changed to be a bland plate of vegetables. When will restaurants realize that you generally return because you favor the same dishes - serving someone, without warning, with something else is not good practice. Adios Heirloom.
