Run of the mill with the tiniest of portions. $25 for sashimi - sushi combo... no Variety, mostly GMO farmed-fake salmon and cali roll. Much better places for the Sushi connoisseurs.

Food was Good ?. They are not licensed though despite what it says. This is a takeout place they really aren't equipped for sit down even though they have tables. Everything about our meal here was "adequate" except the food which was "adequate+" so I don't know how this place has over 4 stars.

i love to try new sushi places. Ordered spicy tuna sashimi for take out at Kin Sushi in West Vancouver. Staff were not that welcoming at first. But I asked how their day was going and that tended to open up a bit of conversation. When I went to office to enjoy my sashimi, noticed the size was less than half of what I usually get at other sushi places in the lower mainland. Phoned and spoke to staff politely and calmly and shared that their sashimi was too small compared to other places. They said “sorry this is our size of take out order”. They also said they cannot do anything about it. Obviously I felt short-changed and wanted to give the staff opportunity to make it right. But unfortunately, they fell short. Sorry to say that I would not and could not recommend Kin Sushi for value and for atmosphere. Hope this is helpful. Kindly ??

Cut my finger on long staple! Sounds crazy but if you get take out, carefully dispose of the long staples they use to secure the receipt to the reusable mesh bags. I kept my bag and sliced my finger so badly it's taken a over a week to heal! And my wife cut her finger on their bag too. What is happening to us?! Don't end up injured like we did! Be careful!!!

The service was attentive and gentle. The place was dingy and rundown. The food was truly bad. Well, the raw fish was rubbery and smelly. The rolls had bizarre flavour. I hear the tempura is good but what tempura isn’t? Anyways, I won’t be returning and was surprised at the ratings. Sometimes kind proprietors get more stars than they deserve. I hope this is a wake up call.

I always order takeout from this little spot on Marine Drive. I love their chicken teriyaki and yam tempura roll, and their spicy mayo is great! Always good sushi and service from Kin Sushi.

Nice little restaurant with 4 tables. Very busy little place with lots of take out orders. I like their special rolls especially the Rock & Roll and French Kiss Rolls.
I visited on the recommendation of a friend. The owner made the sushi so beautifully that I could feel his sincerity upon seeing it for the first time!!All types of rolls are delicious and the portions are plentiful haha. The staff were all friendly, and the store was clean and nice.It was nice that the price was cheap compared to how full I was!I will visit again next time I go to Vancouver!
