Friendly staff but terrible food, one of the worst ever chicken don I’ve ever had and not cheap either $17.50… 6 tinniest pieces of chicken ever that I had to buy a whole other meal after. Safe to say I’m never getting food from this place again.

I've gone several times, great service and always freshly made however lately I've been noticing the sizes of the portions getting smaller.

Excellent food and friendly waitress. What needs improvement is the timing of our lunch for the 3 of us. The difference in time from the 1st to the 3rd lunch was about 15 minutes. It was not busy in the restaurant either.

Food tastes pretty good, but for the size of the rolls, it is overpriced. The rolls were the smallest i have ever seen. I just did a take out meal, and the customer service was good. Don't know if I would go back again.

Didn't eat there so no clue on atmosphere. But ordered a few rolls and sashimi, asked for extra ginger and Wasabi and for the 5 rolls and sashimi there wasn't even enough ginger or wasabi for 1 roll.. super cheap! Hate to see what their portion is when you don't ask for extra!! As for the food, it was disgusting, not fresh. Would not go back.

Stopped here randomly with the family on a Sunday for lunch and had a great experience. The restaurant is family owned by a couple who are very caring and hospital - this definitely shows in the service. Quality and quantity of food was great for the price and our dishes were served promptly. Space was clean and kid friendly. Would come back if we are in West Van again.

Had the pleasure of dinning at this restaurant last week, the establishment is very clean and cozy, family owned and operated, Food is authentic, original and very fresh. Staff are friendly and seem to know many of their customers, I recommend you check out this place whenever you find yourself in the area! I will for sure return asap

When I lived in West Van, I used to order from here all the time and food was great. Obviously a different owner. The maki rolls were smaller than one gets anywhere else and presentation messy. Gyoza was a bit burned and for the first time I didn't like the filling, I always enjoy this dish. The tempura was the worst. Oil must've been old as batter was dark with brown spots. The only good thing I can say is that the decor is nice, but I'd rather eat in a hole-in-the-wall with good food. For the price and poor quality I felt ripped off. There are too many other sushi spots to go to that I will not be going back.

I recently dined at this sushi place, and I must say it was an extremely disappointing experience. The aburi sushi, which I was looking forward to, was nothing short of a culinary disaster. It lacked the proper flavors and was far from resembling true aburi sushi. As for the seafood udon, it was a complete letdown. The broth was either overly salty or had an overwhelming umami taste, making it impossible to enjoy. I couldn't even finish it.This has been my worst sushi place experience by far, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a genuine sushi delight. Save your money and taste buds elsewhere!
