I attended with a mobility impaired friend yesterday for their hot chocolate festival. Was disappointed as the options for the festival were not displayed anywhere. The service was polite and fair. The hot chocolate was bland. Confectionery paired with the drinks were tasty. The venue was difficult for my friend to navigate with her walker. Prices were fair for what we received

It’s not a bad coffee shop but feels overpriced for the quality of the food and drinks. Average coffee and lattes and food was okay. Hot chocolates as part of the hot chocolate festival were a big let down being luke warm, watery, and lacking flavour.

A friend and I attended a holiday cookie making class here last night and it was fantastic. Very fun, informative and Kendall was a great teacher! I am looking forward to making all of the class cookies again over the holidays. Highly recommend the class and this location.
I popped into Modern Pantry this morning for a coffee and it was so nice! A huge selection of baked goods at reasonable prices. I ordered an Americano and the focaccia with cheese + veggies on top. The focaccia was still warm from the oven and the coffee was amazing! Will definitely be back. Welcome to the neighborhood!Vegetarian options: I got the veggie focaccia but I noticed other veggie options available.

I used the catering service for my mom's 90th birthday and the special pastries made the event extra special. We ordered the two bite pastries including lemon tarts, decadent chocolate shortbread, lime pavlovas and strawberry pastries. All were absolutely delicious and beautiful as well. I will definately order from here again.

My new favourite place to have coffee and baked goods! Their topped foccacia is a must (Thurs-Sunday only I believe). The place has ample seatings and some seats outside as well. Walking distance to the seawall. Their coffee was good and also their London Fog. Nice selection between savoury and sweets to go with the coffee. They also have selections local goods to purchase as well as frozen pies, which I should pick up next time! Service was prompt and very courteous. Plenty of street parking in front or the street over. A must visit and don't forget to take home the topped foccacia!
