We had higher expectations of the place, but got very disappointed. My wife had risotto which was undercooked, and my chicken was over spiced. No soup selection. The service was friendly and promt, and the place is nicely decorated.

We went for the prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner. 3 out of my 4 courses were terrific, the gnocchi was underwhelming, but the kale salad, filet mignon, and dessert were excellent. Service was friendly, fast, and attentive until the last half hour, when our server was clearly overwhelmed.

My wife and I went to The Den for Valentines dinner. We were informed a few days after making the reservation that there would be a fixed menu with a fixed price. That wasn't our idea of a nice dinner experience, but we decided to go ahead with our plans anyway, and we're very glad we did! Great experience, every course was amazing, great service. Highly recommend!

The Den was a great food experience in Whistler. We attended for a birthday dinner and the service was amazing. Great menu with many options including vegan, vegetarian & gluten free.

One of the worst New Year's Eve day experiences ever. Normally their legendary brunch is served until 2 but on the most appropriate day to have a legendary brunch they decided to end it at 11... so we get to our 1pm reservation and they start by making us wait, they then take us to the casual restaurant instead of the Den and we are confused asking why our reservation isn't being honored and they agree to seat us in the Den and then hand us the same a la carte menu from the bar restaurant. All in all really disappointing... however if you are planning to go not on NYE the food looks amazing. We love Nita and both restaurants typically produce greatness however we caught them on a bad day.

There were 2 dishes sold out and not many options for mains. The food itself was average. I order the salmon and found the salmon skin was a bit too charred making it bitter. Pasta was undercooked. The food used to be better here not sure what's happened in the last little while

Christmas evening special event Buffet food was average at best For the price and the price of other meals we have had in Whistler this week this is at the bottom of our list of meals thus far We had pre paid and were told taxes and gratuity had not been charged even before we had been seated or served and further payment was required Main restaurant looked good but would not be returning for anything like tonight's buffet in the function rooms.

Very quiet venue with a lovely view. Went for the all you can eat breakfast. For $50 per person, the selection was lacking and not up to par. There was no juice or coffee bar. There were I believe 10 total items to choose from. Overall the food was good and the service was outstanding, I recommend just ordering from the menu.

The lodge is beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were amazing. The brunch had lots of options but the food was all cold even under heat lamps. For the price it was very disappointing. The service was not wonderful but not horrible, non attentive mostly. I wouldn't pay the $49 per person for brunch here again. The food was all great ingredients and I bet ordering from the menu is a far better option.

We got the $49 4 course fall tasting meal. The dishes we got for starters and mains were amazing and those alone were amazing and will get us to come back again. The dessert was very meh. Nothing special and was honestly a disappointment compared to the other items. Drinks were insanely expensive and wish they had some specials for those or some better prices options.

The four-course tasting menu was at an excellent price point to try several options on the menu. The filet mignon steak I had was cooked to perfection, and all the other food was also very good. I would recommend fewer vegan options on the menu as many of us still like a good meat protein with our meals! The service was a little lacking, but I think they are short on experienced staff, as there were quite a few new employees working. Overall it was a great experience, and I would eat here again.

Had a great experience trying their set menu with my girlfriend. The wine pairing with 5 courses is definitely something I would recommend trying. The food was great and the service was good.

Had breakfast on a holiday Monday. Service was slow, coffee was very strong, espresso style, food was done very well but overall was disappointed considering all the great things I have heard about this place.Perhaps dinner is better?

The service was very slow for an early November night. It took 2 hours to get our mains. That would have been acceptable but my wife and I both got stomach upset once we got home. I would not suggest ordering the salmon. We have had great experiences in the past but likely won't be back.

We reserved for 7:15 and started out really well with cocktails but after that went downhill. We waited an hour for our salad and the our main course came out 9:30. When the food came, my tenderloin was chewy and bitty, left half of it. The staff were apologetic, however to wait for your food for 2 hours was too much to take. We even asked for dessert to go. It's too bad as we were looking for a good experience and it just did not happen. I'll not book with the Den again.
