As a brown person, to ensure racists don’t get their way in life, here’s how I tip in restaurants:As I walk in, you're getting a 15% tip by default always! (unless you're racist.)If the food is bad, we can sort that out; I still tip generously.(its not the chef’s fault)But if you're racist, alas! You lose the 15% — that is literally the only criteria.(As I have worked in restaurants myself, I know TIPS matter)Here's what I do:I ask the server that I'll need a couple of minutes before I am ready to order. Then I observe. I observe how they're reacting, talking to the WHITE people. I expect nothing less in terms of manners as compared to the white person. Fair! Right?Now if they exhibit the same behavior! Voila! 15%.If not, give them a second chance. I say a lot more thank-yous with a smile(maybe 3 times more). And then observe again, was that face and attitude just for the brown guy or the white guy as well?Just the brown guy? Ba-dum-tss. 5% maybe 0%.Please don’t treat people differently because of their skin colour. It HURTS.Check#462298(Still tipped 10% because the food was phenomenal. One of the best I’ve ever had.Thank you, chef)

Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly. Music may be a bit loud for some kids. But my little likes loud music and loves to dance. May want to ask or no pepper on fries for the kids as well
