We dined in March 5th at 5:30 PM. Wow! Food flavours were out this world. They offered a pad Thai for the kids … simply amazing! We ordered a bunch of dishes to eat family style and literally everything we ordered was outstanding. Loved our experience. Service was spectacular. We would absolutely come back. Delicious!

Beautiful restaurant which offers very high quality and authentic Thai food. Ordered Pad Thai, chicken skewer, mussel tom yum soup and chicken curry and every dish was amazing! This review is from a Singaporean who loves and knows her Thai food by the way!

Beautiful restaurant with an interesting take on Thai food The handmade roti with curry dipping sauce was a great starter to my meal. The Tom kha mussels and coconut soup was delicious and so creamy - definitely a unique dish that is a must-try on this menu! The chicken curry had a real spice kick to it. Rice is not included and had to be ordered as a side. We were seated at the bar. Our waiter and maybe what I think is the manager were so friendly to us, striking up conversations and getting to know us in the brief time we had to enjoy our meal. Overall I'd say I had a great experience here as a visiting tourist from out of the country!

We had dinner here and enjoyed it. Very nice atmosphere and service and food were good. Small place so plan ahead during busier times.

My partner took me on a date to Mekong for my birthday. This new Thai restaurant in Whistler has had our interest since they opened!Upon sitting down we were immediately asked about a drink order. Which felt rushed; but didn’t negatively affect the evening. The staff were friendly. Our server was knowledgeable and gave us guidance on the menu when we sat down. The restaurant was clean and the decor was nice. The tables were too tightly spaced which was probably my biggest knock against the restaurant. It felt like we were sitting next to strangers and didn’t have much privacy for conversation. The server was bumping into my partner while filling other tables waters; which is uncomfortable. The food was incredible and packed with flavour! In my opinion; that’s what matters most.We got the prawn salad, mussel soup and seabass entree. All to share. The prawn salad was bomb but only came with three prawns (hard to share and it was $28) which felt a bit overpriced. However, everything was indeed mouthwatering and we left very satisfied. Our gin cocktails were 10/10.I think with a few fine-tune adjustments this restaurant could be 5-stars.I hope this review is helpful to the restaurant. I would encourage those who are visiting Whistler to check out Mekong. We will be back.Huge bonus; TONS of gluten free options!!!

Absolutely loved our dinner at Mekong. Fabulous service. The roti appie was delish. Truly appreciated the separate vegetarian menu and the attention taken for allergies. The pad Thai was very flavourful! The drinks were great as well. Some of the best food we have had in Whistler. We will for sure be back!!
