Amidst looking for a spot that sells açaí bowls, we found Islands cafe in White Rock, BC. The atmosphere was super cute and somewhere you want to sit down, relax, sip your coffee and stay all day at. The açaí bowl was refreshing, and there are a few more toppings that can be added on for 75c each but do I do wish there was some more variety. Sea salted caramel latte was yummy, the bottom of the drink is the best part where the salt and caramel gathers. We also got the big kahuna breakfast sandwich in an everything bagel. It was a little bit bland and underwhelming in terms of servings for the price.

Islands is one of my favorite coffee places. The coffee is amazing. But so is the atmosphere and everyone that works there is lovely. They seem to appreciate their customers, even the ones that are there extended periods for various reasons.I love going there with friends or to work or to just sit and have coffee.Thank you for the amazing space.

so much potential but the experience is lost quickly due to very limited selection of poor quality baked goods (one or two items) and disappointing coffee. Particularly because it's brand is Hawaiian roasted beans which in reality amounts to essentially poorly locally roasted beans that are bitter and leave you disappointed with the nearly $4 small drip coffee! The environment is consistently intrusively loud (the music blaring) with a staff that is either untrained to notice the difference between ambiance and an environment where the customers have to essentially yell to have a conversation! I wouldn't recommend!

Island Cafe boasts a perfect 10/10 location that sets the stage for a delightful experience. While the coffee might not steal the show, it holds its own – a decent cup, neither outstanding nor disappointing. The staff’s courtesy and the cafe’s cleanliness create a welcoming vibe. With ample seating and a cozy ambiance, it’s an ideal spot to unwind. The tempting food menu has me planning a return visit to explore more flavors. ☕

The poke bowl was delicious and the coffee outstanding but most of all the service was exceptionally courteous and efficient. These guys are a great addition to White Rock.
