Our experience started out rocky on Mother's Day, and we almost decided to leave. However, thanks to our server Danny, the day turned around completely. Danny provided the best service ever and made my mother's day truly special. Her exceptional attention and care turned a potentially disappointing day into an unforgettable one. Do not go if you are celiac/gluten freeWe went for Mother’s Day and there are so many GF labeled options, but one of my meals came out with gluten on it, one of my items was forgotten and the others were not really gluten free so I couldn’t eat them.Ended up with just a small salad, disappointing service and unfortunately the others weren’t very happy with their food either.The view of the beach is beautiful, you have to pay for parking but the location is beautiful.Dietary restrictions: Do not go if you are Celiac/Gluten Free

Atmosphere is wonderful the food is pretty good the desert taste good but the portions were a tad bit small the service was friendly but they didn't check in on my table very often and forgot to take someone's order. They also didn't listen to food request like for salad dressing to be on the side due to diet restrictions.

Was very busy (Mother's Day) but the staff were still extremely polite and lovely to deal with. We got seated immediately and food came out very quickly. The reduced menu for the day was a bit of a bummer but understood.

As always, our evening out was wonderful. Having joined the WAG birthday club years ago, we always look forward to a birthday coupon to help make the evening more affordable. And this time there were a couple of surprise menu additions - something we haven't seen for a long time. Both were delicious!

Very cool place. Food was good. Server was great but other service like keeping water glass filled at the table etc lacked for a higher end experience. Prices are a little high I think for the quality of the food, but I think you're also paying for the great view, unpariled by any other restaurant as it's the only restaurant on the ocean side of the street. Also, if you're wanting to have a deep conversation, or you're bringing people along with hearing issues, for example, elderly people, the acoustics make it very difficult to hear one another. Consider coming on a night that they have live entertainment, often. There's jazz to listen to on certain nights.

Food was excellent! Absolutely delicious, ambience was beautiful really enjoyed it:). For what I ordered and paid for I found the fish piece really small other than that loved the rest !
Not only was the food amazing the service was so efficient, my boyfriend had also mentioned it was my birthday & when they brought my dessert out they had a sparkler in it, that was very thoughtful.

WAG has been our go to for a few years. Last nights experience was definitely disappointing.... Dirty glassware, cocktail had to be remade due to black flecks in it, ordered a seafood hot pot without mussels, but came with. Took a long time to get another without, other guests were basically done their meals when it arrived. Waitress offered us complimentary desserts to make up for it, but did not specify how many...... when we went to order she clarified it was only 2 complimentary desserts despite being 3 couples which made it very awkward and strange. Especially since we had specified in the reservation we were celebrating a birthday. Service was extremely slow, drinking water was warm....everything was off....

Great place overall! I met up with a group here and it was the perfect spot to have lunch and to visit the White Rock Pier. Our food arrived quickly and was very good - I got the ahi tuna bowl and it tasted very fresh. Our group enjoyed our meals and the cozy vibes of this restaurant.

Our visit to WAG was very nice, the first time here for us. Our cousin recommended it and we went with them and took another cousin visiting from Ontario. 6 people in total, and everyone was happy with their orders. The only minor complaint was the yam fries appetizer. They were very limp, clumped, and stuck together, but still were tasty. The decor had a theme, best described as vintage, and then changed on the covered deck. The view was nice, but there was a large parking area between the building and the actual view. The server was pleasant and attentive. She took our orders in a timely manner, and the food arrived reasonably quick and hot. It wasn't very busy, so I can not comment on how things would be if it were busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend it, and we will be back to give it a try again.
