Since the new owner took over this franchise the've changed and not for the better. In all tye other Crazy Otto's around you can still have a nice conversation with the staff even if your not friends but at this one on Avenue I it's no longer the case making it an unfriendly atmosphere unlike it was before!

Crazy good food! Incredibly generous portions! And the atmosphere is unbeatable! Most patrons are die-hard loyal locals, so there's often chatter amongst and between tables, and the staff treat you like family! If you've never been, you're missing out on one of the most goodest unpretentious worst kept secrets of the AV! Everybody knows about Crazy Otto's...

The meat just seemed old. We ordered Prime Rib. It wasn't an experience we're likely to repeat.

I like this place. Good food, good portions, quick, reasonably priced.
As of Sunday, January 28th, 2024 they will only be open 6 am to 3 pm. No dinner service. Good value and good menu. A popular place, especially for breakfast. Their two for $30 dinners are good. Includes a drink and a shared dessert.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, high chairs, and wait staff that are very accommodating.
