“I needed cupcakes to celebrate a wedding engagement. A friend told me about this bakery. Had I not been told where it was, I would have never found it. I'm so glad I found them! They not only made beautiful cupcakes in two different flavors, they were moist and very tasty. They wrote on the cuocakes, "Will you Marry me? It was so well done. And, she said YES!! Besides cupcakes, they make some of the BEST Mexican pastries, and cakes. People in the know order their quinciniera cakes, birthday and holiday cakes here. Hunt this place down, they are worth it!“
“Found love here, I couldn’t have asked for more, I worked here passing through jobs and met a waitress who I’m going to marry. The story wasn’t always great at times, but everything I have I owe to this job.. The owner’s name is Sam and he’s a great pizza maker and boss, his wife Rita literally makes the greatest desserts and pastas that they sell in store. For anyone who thinks I’m bias (which I am) if I didn’t meet my wife here I’d still eat here. Lol great homemade food! (I’ve worked in a lot of restaurants and you’d be surprised how many places just buy packages and fry or heat it up and everyone thinks it’s homemade.. Brooklyns really is homemade food.“

“This review is for Concha Bakery #2, located in Apple Valley on the corner of Kiowa and Bear Valley Rd. The bakery is open 6am-6pm M-F and 6-2 on the weekends. The young man running the place is the baker, the clerk, the janitor, the parking attendant, etc. I was surprised the business was open again. It was a different bakery and it was closed. He notified me that he's been open 7 months. I never knew. Well, I decided to buy the namesake bread (conchas), some cuernos for coffee and a dozen bolillos. The bread did not disappoint! It was fresh, soft and tasty. The bakery itself was clean and neat. I hope he gets the support from the community. We need to have fresh pan dulce in Apple Valley. Now is the best time to try this bakery. There is nothing better than a cup of coffee and a variety of Mexican bread to choose from in this cold weather.“
