The drinks and food were fantastic. The smoked apricot drink was fabulous. Coconut Rice was like dessert. Everything was seasoned well & delicious. The waiters were struggling with taking down our drink order. We would say a drink & they would run off to get it. One at a time that happened for our party of 7. The place was loud, and you had to practically walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom.

I am not a "soup and salad" guy, but the Samosa Soup and the Tea Leaf Salad are two of the best things you can order anywhere.Vegetarian options: Garlic Noodles are good if you don't want spicy.

BEWARE. My husband and I came for dinner tonight and really enjoyed our food. We were going to order another entree to go when I saw a giant rat run across a lip in the wall to the kitchen. As someone who is pregnant this is a huge concern for bacteria like listeria.

Oh my god the food was so good. We weren’t expecting to eat here but on a gloomy, chilly, day in SF having a bowl of curry with fluffy coconut rice hit the spot. We also ordered the appetizer of coconut curry chicken dip with thousand layer bread and nearly a year later I still think about it. Heavenly. Delicious.

When a Burma Superstar opened on Park Alameda rejoiced. No longer would we have to drive to the city or Berkeley for the delicious Tea Leaf Salad or Platha and Dip appetizers. Or the Braised Pork Belly. Or the Spicy Chicken. Or the Spicy Pork with Coconut Rice. It’s all right here in the heart of Alameda. Crowds are big at peak times and parking is always spotty on Park but make time to eat here. It’s worth it.
