Watching the sad decline or disappearance of many other local chinese-american restaurants i was pleasantly surprised to find China Villa is still holding down the fort. I've ordered take out twice recently and was very satisfied with the quality, quantity and speed at which the food was prepared for pickup. The first thing I liked about China Villa was the location. Right by the water it was just soothing. Next was their Chinese decoration. It brings out a calm earthy atmosphere. Then the food and the price. The food was delicious. The veggies were perfectly cooked not soggy or hard just firm and delicious perfectly seasoned. And for all that dining experience surprisingly they kept the price reasonable.

Great food , the only reason not 5 stars is they close to early as do all the restaurants in Alameda , but I line the walnut fish, And the eggplant is so good in the Mongolian beef delicious
