I found out about Project Burger from a fellow yelper. The first time I was there was last Saturday, March 23, 2024, after leaving Park Social Cannabis Dispensary.I was hungry and needed to get something to eat. I stopped in at Project Burger. They serve burgers, fries, shakes, malts, fountain sodas and two types of salad.Eats: California burger for $12.95 (excluding tax). For anybody with a hearty appetite, I recommend this burger - thick and humongous. It is a half pound beef pattie with cojita cheese, romaine, spring mix greens, sliced tomatoes, sliced avocados, sliced red onion, house sauce (mild or spicy). The fixings come in a separate tray. A parchment paper is layered between the bun and the beef parties. The burger was bomb-diggity good. It took me almost 45 minutes to finish that burger. So delicious was that burger, I returned three days later to buy two California burgers to go.

Travelled 1 hour . Spent 20 minutes finding parking spot. Waited 10 minutes in line just to be told by owner that they are not serving. Sunday 11am? As there was a family of 8 people. This owner is doing everything, taking order , cooking and serving. With he is selfish or people don’t want to work. Not sure how he is surviving in this business. If you cannot serve , just F leave the business. What a shame . Not going there anymore and will not recommend anyone to go there. There is a falafel restaurant opposite, and it was very good food.

My partner and I dropped in at project burger one night when we were craving a good burger. The owner was very welcoming and quickly took our order, he was also cooking and serving the food all by himself which I thought was very impressive. I ordered the classic grass fed burger and my partner tried the mixed burger with lamb and beef. The burgers were so big, I had to give the rest of mine to my partner. The buns were thick enough not to fall apart while eating the burger and they had a nice crunch to them. My favorite part was the sauce that came with the burgers it was so yummy! We also ordered a basket of fries to share and the portion was very large for those as well. I feel like we definitely got our money's worth and left feeling very full. We will definitely be coming back very soon!

Excellent food. Fresh ingredients and presentation make for a delicious burger. Nice selection of beers and craft sodas. Yummy fries. Decor could use updating.

This place is small and unassuming. Almost looks closed. It's rarely busy, might even be empty. There's usually just one guy in there doing it all. With all that said, it's hands down my favorite burger on the island.TRY THIS PLACE OUT. The flavors of his burgers are amazing. Perfect char on the burger, juicy, and cook exactly how you ask. I don't like any pink in my burger and he prepared it perfectly. He'll bring it to your table and pick up the trays when you're done. He's a nice guy and puts a lot of love into his food. Someone in another review said he even puts parchment or wax paper between the patty and bottom bun in to go orders so the bun doesn't get soggy. this is a beautiful and thoughtful touch. I know it's easy to think Scolaris or Nations but Project Burger is really THE ONE. They even serve local Alameda soda flavors. I suggest the black cherry.I strongly suggest eating here, if you're a burger person you will not want to miss this place.

Great food and location. The owner makes each burger and some really flavorful sauces from the heart. You can go to a place just for a burger or you can get a really good burger here. Came here with a party of 9 and service was fast and friendly. We all enjoyed the soda's which are local and very delicious.
