Wide open place with friendly accommodating staff. Drink flight sampler was very pretty and was on the sweet side. They were out of the more savory mixes the day we came. I liked the view

Went in for a distillery tour and got to learn a lot about the process and taste their various different vodkas. Absolutely enjoyed it

What an incredible experience! Pretty bittersweet since it was recently announced that this local distillery that hand bottles Vodka and one Brandy will be closing before the new year (less than a month away). I've always been a fan and so this has been on our list and was rescheduled, thankfully before it was too late. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative about the process and, of course, taught us how to sip and taste good spirits. Some of the small batch bottles can only be purchased in the bottle shop here so we tried to stock up as much as possible since it's very likely that some of them will no longer be produced. The thought of drinking vodka straight sounds awful, but not these! All were so delicious and the quality and craft of the distillers is evident. I'd say run over and support these locals and get in on a lil bit of nostalgia before it's too late.

They are closing their tasting room in Decmeber, so I had to stop by and give it a try with my partner. You can make reservations online, but we decided to walk in. They staff there was really nice, they squeezed us in for a flight tasting right before their cut off time of 6pm. We got one reserve vodka flight and one cocktail flight - both were reasonably priced. I really loved the cocktails, especially the creamsicle one - it tastes EXACTLY like an orange creamscile. My partner enjoyed the mint mojito cocktail more. Their vodkas were strong, but you can definitely taste the notes and hints of each distinctively. Each was explained to us carefully, including how to drink it and the order we should drink it in. Overall, pretty good experience and a great place to hang out with a group of friends. They have an outside seating area with amazing views of the waterfront and city at night!

We booked our tasting online and we all left super satisfied! Not only were we able to sample their wide array of vodkas, but they also educated us on what goes into making their vodkas and what sets Hangar 1 unique. It was a really fun experience and we left feeling super satisfied and with a bunch of knowledge about vodka. During our visit there was an event that they were preparing for so the bar wasn't open, but definitely would want to come again when it is open too and hopefully another tasting. I saw an article circulating around saying that they were set to close mid December 2022. Sad to see them go as they were a wonderful addition and provided such a great space for tasting and drinks. Definitely check them out while they're still open! You won't regret it.

Quality/Quantity - Came here for the Head West Event @ Hangar One. When in Alameda, I serve Hangar One to my guests. When in Tahoe or Reno, I serve Tahoe Blue. Supporting the locals. They also offer tours, see website for specific hours. Atmosphere - Open 4 days a week, see Yelp or their website for specific hours. Hours also change with special events such as today's Head West Event. They also have comedy show events, see website. Clean unisex bathrooms upstairs in the cocktail bar. Plenty of parking. Service - Good, indoor/outdoor activities. Downstairs bar and outside bars were open (although it was too early for me to drink). Working on the upstairs cocktail bar, not open yet. Price - Event was free, $$$ depending on where you shopped. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2001 and 2015 at this location. I have yet to do your tour; it is still on my list.

Last night friends and I bought tickets for Drag Queen Bingo at Hangar One. Tickets for a timeslot of 5:30-6:15pm. Tickets for 6:00-6:45pm. I didn't mind the overlap. But the queens stopped calling number at 6:10pm. What happened to our 6:00-6:45pm tickets? It was either a total scam or they are lazy bums. Take your pick. Either way I'm totally turned off from events at Hangar One. Writing to add I just saw the November and December events are posted and see that you guys have the BALLS to sell tickets for 6pm. How dare you... Edit to say I see that you now have removed your 6pm tickets, good on you, but that doesn't make up for our group that spent money on Oct 2022 6pm tickets for absolutely nothing.

I absolutely love coming here. I went here a couple times and yesterday my husband and some friends decided to go to chill out here. Surprisingly there's a marketplace here with tons of booths for small businesses. I love the fact that they turned this giant warehouse + parking lot for this marketplace. It's Just nice to walk around and check out art work, cute plants and other businesses thriving in there. Love the drinks here and also love chilling outside in the front area with the benches and tables. Overall the atmosphere is great! They have a cute bar spot upstairs and you can oversee the shoreline and water. Def a good date spot too! Highly recommend here & Faction brewery is just next door!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the tasting at Hangar 1. The price for how much vodka you get is very reasonable for the Bay Area! Justin was extremely knowledgeable, even to the point where his co-worker was listening in our tasting and exclaimed - Really, I didn't know that! We had such a fantastic time and I highly recommend the tasting.

I attended a wedding at the Hangar 1 Distillery recently. It's a gorgeous, industrial location and the overall vibe is relaxed. It was a wonderful and offbeat place for a celebration, with a gorgeous view. The Hangar 1 staff on site during the wedding were wonderful. In particular, my child was having a hard time dealing with the big day, and slept most of the evening on me and their couch (lol). The staff went out of their way to help me handle that while they were also supporting the reception and the wedding party. I was so grateful for them, plus I got to learn about the history of the distillery and hang out in a cool space.

5 stars isn't enough. 10 stars isn't enough. My sister had her wedding here yesterday and we had an indescribably good time. Special shout-out to Heidi and Justin. They kept us comfortable, never intruded, and made great conversation when you needed a break at the bar. Cannot say enough good things about Hangar 1

I came for the vodka tasting tour. The tour guide was excellent. I learned a bunch and enjoyed tasting the vodka. If you are looking for something fun to do, this is a sure win.

5 star view but sub par service. We came on a Thursday and booked a vodka tasting. When we arrived we then were told they didn't have enough staff together to open the bar upstairs. So we asked if we could do another tasting to which we were told "we have a one drink per person per day rule".. well I wish we would of known the limitations of service before ubering all the way out for a reserve flight of small pours. The staff did not ask if is if they could offer us anything else. I noticed they had a bottle shop and also offer food on the website but no suggestions were made to us so instead of spending our time and money we left because i guess there isn't much else you can do
