We stopped by on a Sunday because we were following the SmackBurger truck but were pleasantly surprised by Humble Sea! The space is very nice with a huge outdoor section with string lights and tons of tables and a nice little dog area. The beers themselves are high quality. I'm a big sour beer guy and they didn't have any fruited sours but they did have their Shoalmates. Its good, very good. Seriously, I wish I picked some up but will have to go back and get more!

Humble Sea as a brewery gets 5/5. We love their Santa Cruz and Pacifica locations. This location not as much, which is a shame because it is the closest location to home. Staff wasn't very friendly or interested in helping on a slow Tuesday afternoon. We sat at the bar and both staff members just stood at the end of the bar by the "Order Here" sign. They asked us "Are you sitting at the bar?" We said yes, then they both ignored us looking the opposite direction until we said "Excuse me..." to ask questions about the beer. I understand QR codes and not having table service but if you're sitting at the bar they should still take your order right? Weird first encounter but whatever, we didn't have a chance to try their food truck but really appreciate that they have food options available everyday. This location obviously is not on a beach like others but still feels like it's greatly missing the beach feel all Humble Sea locations have. Maybe some more fun wall art would help the decor/vibes? It's just missing something. We'll probably be back to visit again, but we won't rush back. After visiting Almanac and Admiral Malting's on the same day it was disappointing to see such unenthusiastic staff at such a cool brewery..

Beautiful and sunny place to have some beers. The beer list is great with a lot of beers to go. A must visit when in Oakland.

The taproom is clean and has a hip aesthetic. I like their outdoor patio with the string lights. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back any time soon. The bartender said, "why don't you get a 5oz pour instead of another taster?" I had been given three little splashes as samples. I was trying to find a beer that I liked. I wish I had just left. I've never had an experience like this at any brewery, or ice cream parlor for that matter.

Best hazy IPAs on earth... yep! The new place on alameda island is perfect, lots of rooms for parties etc. the crew is always super nice and friendly. Alameda has certainly become a great place for food/drinks!

Came here on a girl's date on a Saturday afternoon. The ambience was quiet chill. Not too busy . Do plan on returning to do the whole "spirits alley" passport run

A Cozy Haven of Craft Brews at Humble Sea Brewing in Alameda Rating: Nestled in the heart of Alameda, Humble Sea Brewing stands out as a welcoming haven for beer enthusiasts seeking a delightful blend of craft brews and a relaxed atmosphere. With its diverse selection of delicious beers and friendly staff, Humble Sea Brewing offers a memorable experience, though a touch of warmth in the form of patio heaters would have been the cherry on top for the enchanting outdoor space. The star of the show at Humble Sea Brewing is undeniably its exceptional range of craft beers. The brewery's offerings cater to a spectrum of tastes. The commitment to quality is evident in each sip, with unique flavor profiles and meticulous brewing techniques that showcase the expertise of the brewers. Whether you're a seasoned beer connoisseur or a casual drinker, Humble Sea Brewing has something to tantalize your taste buds. While the outdoor space is a definite highlight, especially on a sunny day, the absence of patio heaters can be a drawback during cooler evenings. It's a small suggestion to enhance the overall comfort for patrons who wish to linger and enjoy the lovely surroundings. With the addition of heaters, the outdoor area could be transformed into a cozy retreat, allowing guests to revel in the crisp air without sacrificing comfort. Humble Sea Brewing in Alameda is a gem for beer aficionados, offering a delightful array of craft brews in a welcoming environment. Cheers to a brewery that truly lives up to its name--humble yet impressive.

Great Bay Area brew. Intelligent servers with lots of knowledge of the local scene. Tasty IPAs and great selection. Highly recommend.

We wanted to check out the brewery's newest location and have been to their Santa Cruz and Pacifica locations. The interior is small, but outdoor seating is also available. We scanned the QR code and ordered/ paid online. There was very little interaction with the employees except when one of them dropped the drinks off. He didn't seem like he wanted to make any conversation with us. My bf tried a few beers and I tried a stout. He thought they all tasted watered down, which is a bummer. He was also looking to purchase a collab beer, but apparently it was sold out within a day... They don't sell food inside, but there was a food truck. Humble Sea is close to Almanac and Faction if you want to check out other breweries in the area as well.

Stopped by Humble Sea brewery on a cold rainy Sunday evening! I was there to check out the food trucks, and Jay (the bartender for the evening) was kind enough to let us enjoy our meals inside! A very cozy setting, with plenty of seating outside alongside the gorgeous waterfront of the San Francisco Bay Area! A huge list of options to choose a beer of your choice, and they even had a hard seltzer as well! I will definitely be coming back! PS -- please consider bottling up the strawberry lemonade seltzer so i can take some home thank you Jay for being an awesome host!

Really love this place. I like that they put their food truck schedule online and have so many tables. I can't wait until summer to enjoy the outside area in the sunshine. Service was great / very friendly staff.

So glad they opened up in Alameda. Would check them out in Santa Cruz previously whenever I had the chance. They excel at IPAs and also have cool cans (nice bonus!). The space is large and good for families. Hoping someday they offer food but appreciate the food trucks when they're there.
